Ann did wrong by Diane. She could have helped Diane to grow, in stead was jealous of her and invidious of her beauty. She condemned her infidelity, but supported her brother's and overlooked hers. Of course, she has matured since.

For decades Ann, pretty as a picture, sweet as cotton-candy, was Daddy’s-girl, and sweetheart of the British Monarch. But when Diana Spencer came along….that all changed. Diana was straight-up, Ann’s competition. And Diana didn’t even have to try…… Life was unforgiving, for the Royals, with Diana in their ranks. Even in death…..Diana is solid-gold…..

I think it's perfectly fine for Princess Anne to not pander to other peoples' egos! She never has, and she never will. Our Princess Royal is to be most highly commended for her complete dedication to the Monarchy, to her family, to her country - and for the personal sacrifices she has had to make in order to dedicate herself to those duties. That Princess Anne has a mind of her own and isn't afraid to exercise it, or her tongue, just make her more human - and even more lovable. I think she should be remembered as "Princess Anne, the Constant". Wherever she is needed - she will be there. Regardless of who she does and doesn't 'gel with'.

I admire the Princess Royal. It is very easy for me to envision her to be a woman of integrity, a value that requires dedication, devotion, and objective introspection. Integrity therefore requires extraordinary effort to achieve and maintain. I believe whatever conflicts have arisen for Princess Royal she has attempted to face them with courage and commitment to her idea of herself as a steward in the eye of the public. She has not been perfect by any means, but she’s willingly attempted and functioned through many a disaster and tried her silver in the fire.

Claiming Princess Anne "hated" anyone is both libelous and slanderous! And we couldn't care less about has-been non-royal Markle! Princess Anne has been a working Royal all her life and that's more than you can say for some of the other Royals or pseudo-royals! I admired the late QEII all my life, but I think Anne was a bit more like her father, who often said what he thought because it was true! Royals have been aware all their lives, that they are respected and looked up to by their British subjects and most of the real Royals have been very aware of their public persona as they engaged in their duties. Sadly, Markle was an exception who denigrated the Royals in her low-class manner, to attempt to hurt the real Royals and tried to change the public's opinion of the Royals and she is obviously not royal material.

I have the utmost respect and admiration for The Princess Royal. She has always taken her duties and responsibilities very seriously and was known to be the hardest working Royal. She used to refer to Diana and Fergie as “ those silly girls “, a title well deserved due to their behaviour, which, at times was atrocious. She loves her brother King Charles dearly and very much respects and likes Queen Camilla. She is a truly great lady, regal in every way and is a credit to herself, her family, particularly her parents and to the whole of the royal family. Of course she would have had Markle’s number right from the start, just as her parents did,

You can't compare the two. At the time spoken of, Princess Diana was raising two young children, whilst Anne's children were adults - thus giving her more freedom to work. Despite this (and the vast disparity in their respective ages) Diana worked hard & could scarcely be blamed for people taking to her perhaps more than they did to Princess Anne - whose disposition was inclined to be far more aloof than Diana's warm & engaging manner. Also, being much younger & more glamorous than the then middle aged Anne, Diana could scarcely be blamed for receiving more attention from the press. And to be fair, I don't recall Princess Anne working any harder than Diana at the same age. I like Princess Anne, but I also liked Princess Diana. To make unfavourable comparisons between the two women is unnecessary & unkind.

Princess Anne has a strong royal commitment. No one can deny Princess Anne's strong work ethic and dedication to the monarchy. ( However Princess Anne needed not blame royals for not being born royal as she has been. If royals were all born royal that could lead to inbreeding and is unrealistic. Princess might be a little more open minded about who are accepted royals.) Princess Anne is a pillar of strength and a highly honored example of royalty. Anyone who doesn't share the Princess's values seems to be not be accepted. There are few people who have the experience or ability to represent the monarchy the way Princess Anne can. No one could replace the princess, but the royals are human and not perfect, even though royalty lives their own version of perfect.

I can understand Princess Ann's standing. I was born afew years after Prince Charles & Princess Royale. It was just after the war, & the situation is such that families tend to be very close knitted & very caring. My eldest sister use to carry me, her baby, around when doing household chores. For the late QE2 & late Duke, they got married young & had 2 infants at early years of their married life. It was Royal Duties for the Late QE2 then, to leave the two very young children into the hands of Royal maids as King Edward, Princess Elizabeth 2 father died suddenly in his sleep in 1952, when Ann was just turning 2. Our upbringing is so different then compare to those born in mid 60s. 15 years gap is a huge differences & our mindset is always family 1st than duties. There were less divorces in our decade as through difficult times we learned tolerance & shared responsibility. It goes on in my family until today. We leave the 2nd generation alone, most of whom didn't want children. Then the 3rd generation is even worst. No marriage but just bundle up together & our 4th generation we could see marriage vows is foreign language to them. So please don't put Princess Royale in a "Shade Of Pale". She's a colourful person & can be fun to work with. Like me, we don't tolerate embezzlement of funds, corruption & jealousy. We are the most hardworking senior citizens & financially stable, as government too give us a helping hand to overcome high cost of living.

and she was right royal life is not behaving like your a celebrity it about serving the country the Queen done this perfectly and Anne has modelled herself on her mother's sense of duty and is a great support for her eldest brother she goes where she is sent and always shows great interest what other people would probably find dull like steam engines and factories . Diana was very hardworking with causes that only interested her and not go where she was sent otherwise she could be very wilful and would not accept invitations with the Queen at Balmoral either , if she asked her to go walking or pony trekking she refused her this was the Queen's chance to give family her one to one undivided attention , it was the Queen's way of showing her affection she did this with everyone in her family as other times they had to make an appointment which Diana refuse to do too and bust in at inconvenient moments when the Queen was busy in something which did not go down well . Anne has been one of the hardest working of the royals she understands what is required of her . i think she enjoys to keep up her record and try and beat her personal best record of appointments she keeps a year 😅 long may it continue for her , if she still enjoys it when most people are putting on their slippers and taking their knitting out and taking it a bit easier in their senior years.

Princess Ann obviously is trying to strike a balance between British royalty & brides & grooms who marry into royalty ......she is not wrong ....but, in reality does not work .....there's bound to be a huge clash of egoes....so a nuclear family system gives everyone peace of mind & happiness.

First, it’s absolutely justified to say of Princess Anne that, if she’d been a man, she would have been applauded for her forthright personality and very high, honorable standards. Which is positively vile. Next, Cherie Blair was totally unnecessary to any public role except as a silent partner to the PM….if she didn’t like her traditional position, she should have stayed away from the whole scene, but to force her imprimatur onto the situation made as unpopular as any PM’s wife in British history. So she should have stayed away from the royal family when she saw her standards were so much lower than theirs.

I have the highest regards for our Princess Royal. She is hard working, gets on with her royal duties and never complains. She is tough but fair. She is like her lovely late father Prince Philip and doesn't take fools eadily. NutMeg is the biggest fool ever and didn't want to work but simply laze about demanding this, that and the other. She was rude to the staff, infact dictatorial. In her pea-sized brain, she thought all the royal jewels would be available to her at her command and anything she wanted she would get, ordering extremely expensive things from every well known shop and became unbearably greedy leaving behind her a trail of debts. Why this horror was allowed in our RF was because saying "NO" to the marriage would have brought out the RC and caused riots in the streets...oh,that ubiquitous RC has no meaning anymore, it has been misused and abused. If anyone saw this earlier in, it would have been Princess Anne. Gosh, sometimes I wish she could have been our me at Queen. Get well soon Princess Anne. We send you our love and our respect. 🇬🇧
