Great video, there is nothing like a perfect marriage or relationship, I learnt that in everything there is always a solution, 5 years ago I and my wife divorced because we were having some difficulties in our marriage but we are back together ,it was a really bad phase but we got through it

there is a lot of sense in what you just said and I hope mine works the same way too, we are currently separated but I cant live without her, I love her so much. wish I can get her back I can do anything to have her back, we have tried therapy amongst other things

@@peterwilliams6361 its always difficult to let someone you love go, but in my case I had the help of a spiritual adviser who saved my marriage from collapsing her name is SHELLY RENEE WHITE.

That was a wonderful tribute to a Lady who lived a long and very productive and service filled life..One of the last of the truly classy royals... Queen 👑 Elizabeth being among them as well...

I think we tend to get tied up with the “major players” in history and overlook so many (from all walks of life) who contributed to the way history has actually played out. And this lady is no exception. Thank you for drawing such a vivid picture of Princess Alice and her accomplishments, which can only be touched on in a, necessarily, short video. Please continue to bring more historic characters to our attention so that they are not overlooked or forgotten and we are able to appreciate their contribution to the historic narrative.

What a extraordinarily life.Will start to say i feel so much for her She never got to know her father, lost two of her beloved children in tragic circumstances .Had to live 24 year without her dear husband. When she was born it wasn't cars and telephone etc when she died the world was unrecognisable car ,telephone, aeroplane and tv was invented. She seemed like a very lovely and sharp minded lady. ❤️❤️Rest easy ❤️

And, um...I don't mean to be nit-picky, but I am Canadian, and I can advise you that the name Rideau, of Rideau Hall (that Churchill loved) is pronounced Ree-doh and not Rye-doh. I hope that is not taken badly! Hard to know how to pronounce city or other names, if they are not part of your country or culture. 😽I always struggled with pronunciation of British towns and names - often got it wrong! So I totally get it! 😁Thanks again for such a dignified, and informative, video! You're the best!

I don't think anyone who creates history videos gets the pronunciation hundred per cent correct. I know I don't. But if it's in the ballpark, then I'm content. Language is a great leveller; accents will always throw up indiscretions. So no matter hard I try and I am trying, as my mum always said. I really can't get everything spot on. But thanks for pointing it out. At least I now know. 😊

Being Vice-Reine must have been exciting in comparison to most royals, thank you, a good long life.

So Beautiful I know I say that a lot but you are so good with words. Thank you for this video, not every Heroine or Strong Woman is riding into battle on a horse baby strapped to her chest weilding katanas (I'm largely borrowing from stories of the Rani of Jhansi) or taking over cities,kingdoms or even their shitty ungrateful husband's Throne and power. Anyhow, these women matter just as much and i don't know believe Heroism in *every* instance can be measured, compared. Princess Alice mattered and another wonderful video and may she R.I.P. 🙏

She seems to have been devoted to service. It is shocking though that they could be hosting allied leaders while her brother who was mentored by Kaiser Wilhelm (with whom she lived herself) was a nazi and eugenicist and yet also with the Seaforth Highlanders. I don’t think Canadians know this part of our past, that our ww2 Governor General while rallying the troops himself, had a nazi brother in law and then went to plead his case after the war, but it definitely reinforces the government’s decision to only have Canadian born GGs afterwards.

The thing about keeping things in the family is good, I get it, but what we have seen over time is genetic problems are carried down the blood line and hereditary problems carry on. It’s now common knowledge this happens. So sad for those that suffer and die young from trying to keep power within the family. Greed never wins, that is a moral lesson for us all.

Great video... however I do not see how advocating for her Nazi brother and holding ceremonial military titles without ever having served an actual day in her life, imply that she had strength and grace. Lol
