WHAT A LIE TO TELL. The Sec. General only did a quick photo opt, and no meeting was held with Dull William. YOU, the paid royal media, know that the UN or NYC did not receive Dull William well. When Dull William arrived at Firehouse 10, the USA tourists were looking to see Harry. The group outside was asking for Harry. No meeting for Dull William at the UN. Only one quick photo opts for Dull William. Why did Dull William fly to the US to give a weak speech about Earthflop? Earthflop is a poor fake project that only serves to give a spotlight to Dull William. No significant persons were at the meeting; the Mayor of NYC, the Governor, and President Biden were absent.

I don’t agree with his assessment of William. William is just cautious about what he says (for good reason). William loves meeting new people and learning and I think that’s one thing he was focused on during this trip. He’s done a fabulous job and I think he’s on a great path.

That's why she took her boys on visits to homeless shelters etc when they were young ? And, took on causes Royals wouldn't have touched with a barge pole back then (Aids, Addiction etc)prompting the Queen to ask why she didn't choose more 'cheerful' causes.

I have to say that I mostly disagree with what Richard Kay has to say. There is nothing wrong with thinking before you speak and I don’t see William as awkward at all. He was rather dismissive of Princess Catherine, she was probably at home being a real parent.

I saw the whole video of the King getting that standing ovation and I was so happy for him! William is top notch and always strives for dignity mixed with warmth. People of all countries can appreciate that.

William is not "stealing" anything. He is simply carrying on, and conducting his duties with grace, integrity, and in a manner that honours his parents. Harry just needs to grow up. The pity party has gotten old and we're all rather done with it.

Richard says that William is very measured with what he says. Thats is probably true .We shouldn't forget that he was also affected by press activities during his Mother's lifetime. Given all that he has been through I think he does wonderfully well.

Why is this post trying to create more problems than the ones that already exist. William lives in the UK, Harry lives by choice in California.. Harry had a huge success and a lot of love for him with Invictus. William is also a very loved Prince. Both of them have their families and Harry is NOT BEGGING the UK for anything. End of story.

We really don't hate the UK. 1776 was a long time ago. We actually love the Royal Family. We are grieving Queen Elizabeth as much as if she had been our own 😢

Prince William is a serious person who behaves professionally whenever he is performing official business duties as part of his Earthshot Prize initiative. It is no surprise to me that other philanthropists and investors line up to be a part of this project and want to help fund it. Princess Catherine stayed behind in England to attend to her own work. She looked quite professional and respectful in that navy pantsuit on her visit to the military. Her facial expression while inflating the life preserver around her neck was priceless!

I respect that Prince William thinks before he speaks. He is magnificent.

I’m American, and a millenial. And I adore Prince William. I think having the pressure of ruling a country and handling himself the way he has is admirable. He’s not perfect but he always tries to lead with warmth.

As an American, we welcomed William with open arms. He is so much like his late mother. He's so handsome and regal.

I’m not British or American and William is also my favourite royal. He’s always so well put together, hardworking, handsome and has a regal presence. The royal rota is horrible to him so I’m happy he left you behind and we were able to hear what he actually had to say.

Prince William’s positive attitude comes from his grandparents, very reminiscent of HRH the late Prince Phillip and Her Majesty the late Queen.

Prince William is sort of like our late JFK, Jr. Handsome, down to earth, and likeable. What is that old guy talking about? The Prince of Wales comes across as genuine and authentic. He is not awkward when meeting people. Give the future king a break.

Comparisons are always odious. They have different roles and different personalities. William is the future King. I like both couples. I think Harry and Meghan are doing very well in their roles too. What battle are the media talking about. Everybody has a preference, which is a personal choice. Just let them alone. The media doesn't care about the relationship between Meghan and her dad. American here. I don’t find Prince William to be awkward at all. He comes across as reserved at times, but always respectful. There’s nothing wrong with being cautious, especially in our present social climate where missteps lead to cancel culture. It’s better to stave off negative press by not giving them any ammo. I applaud him and Catherine, The Princess of Wales for being such upstanding people. They care about the work and aren’t just in it for photo ops.

Thank you in the name of Royal fans on our side of the pond. I no longer dare to say anything, even remotely negative about the Harkles, as it could be labeled racist or who knows what... - and yes, I have several African American friends who can afford to voice their opinion. They are no longer positive about the Harkles.

I believe Prince William went running in Central Park to prove that there is not a lot of danger in NYC. I don’t think there was a pack of body guards surrounding him. Well done, PW.

Many of us don't have time for the whining from Harry and Meghan. They quickly showed their true colors. Prince William and Katherine are true class acts. I really like and admire them.

The Wales, Prince William and Catherine are so beautiful and humble royals and I do like "Don't complain, dont talk" till the enemy dig their own grave " policy. I just like the British conservatives and traditions fun cultures. They preserve more of their culture and traditions and always polite to each others compare to USA that are allowed too much freedom which has bred all what's happening in the country...No respect. Children doing what they like, "homosexualing", "queering", people trans "gendering" and gender "fluiding" and worst extending it to children. USA has now become laughing stock country. USA...from grace to grass and now classless and superlatively crass. I regretted not supporting Trump.

I’m a democrat and I love William and Catherine. No whining or hyping on the media, just doing great work ❤

WHAT A LIE TO TELL. The Sec. General only did a quick photo opt, and no meeting was held with Dull William. YOU, the paid royal media, know that the UN or NYC did not receive Dull William well. When Dull William arrived at Firehouse 10, the USA tourists were looking to see Harry. The group outside was asking for Harry. No meeting for Dull William at the UN. Only one quick photo opts for Dull William. Why did Dull William fly to the US to give a weak speech about Earthflop? Earthflop is a poor fake project that only serves to give a spotlight to Dull William. No significant persons were at the meeting; the Mayor of NYC, the Governor, and President Biden were absent.

Their antics are kind of expected now that we know what they are. What most infuriating is that they get away with them and there is no one to stop them or teach them a lesson. When the next opportunity presents itself they will do exactly the same if not worse.

William is genuine and genuinely liked. He takes nothing from Harry and that woman because they are empty. We don't want these tedious, high maintenance people. Please take them back.

Maybe William just wanted to enjoy our beautiful Central Park!!! Maybe he wasn't scheming to be a mirror of his mother. William has shown Americans that he is no longer just Diana's son...he's a competent man with purpose.

I disagree strongly , I think Prince William has a strong presence and natural leadership , much more than his father had at the same age , his height is also an advantage . The language difficulty with the President of Ecuador might have led to a bit of awkwardness but that happens.

Charles had it tuff as he always stood behind Queen Elizabeth never disrespecting her by being the focal point. Now that she has passed it’s his time to shine & bring his ideas forward. He has handed William & Cathrine extra jobs as he knows they can do it.He’s not worried about being overshadowed by them just as Cathrine doesn’t overshadow William. This guy is just creating trouble. Most likely was secretly in love with Diana.

Prince William is not awkward . He is careful and cautious, which is a good thing . Richard Eden is right in calling him calm and sensible. He is perfect , as is his lovely wife , which is why they both get equal positive coverage in the press. I did agree with Kay when he said that Harry’s style of philanthropy is more about lining his own pockets , and why would anyone want to fund Harry’s lifestyle?

Talking about birthdays: h&m have not, in the last few years, sent ANY birthday wishes, not even to George and his siblings. So why does everyone not notice h&m's lack of wishes?

I am a New Yorker. My chums and I adore Prince William! That other couple? Who cares!?

William is much more mature and a leader Harry is still a willful and gloomy man/boy.

True, and I'd add there's an intelligence factor that benefits a future King. I think any awkwardness William has is the immense pressure that is put on every word and deed. If we allowed a bit of human error, he might be freer to show his personable and humorous side. You can certainly see it in the candid shots with his children playing.

I thought Richard Kay was quite disparaging about William! I felt that even if it was scripted he was an excellent ambassador for the Country. Richard Eden as much kinder in his assessment. Hard to equate being philanthropic and having to make a living out of the things you are being Philanthropic about! Love the accidental description by Richard Eden of Harry as being a non- person! Well said. I deplore the behaviour of Meghan and Harry of both of their fathers with regard to the Grandchildren,.

If that assumption is correct then would I be correct in assuming that family closeness and loyalty matters to you. Harry was not treated differently to William by his father. It is a fact that the eldest child in the Royal family becomes King or Queen, Harry grew up knowing that one day his brother would become King and that he was free to pursue a life either undertaking Royal engagements in a supporting role to the reigning monarch as many other members of the Royal family had done; he was also free to carve out a career for himself.. For a number of years Harry undertook engagements sometimes alone and sometimes accompanied by his brother and sister in law. After his marriage where everyone welcomed the fact that he had found someone to share his life with, he began to change. His wife had not anticipated that she was expected to work and that great privilege comes great responsibility. She enjoyed the privilege but not the responsibility.. After they quit the Royal family, the betrayal of them began in his book where he revealed the most intimate personal details about not only himself but also about other members of his family. In the Oprah interview and subsequent television appearances both Harry and Meghan showed total disrespect towards the Royal Family including his grandmother, our late Queen; it was a disgusting betrayal of his family. No matter what his mother had or hadn’t done, after her divorce she maintained a respect for the Royal Family and almost without exception it is agreed that she would have been saddened by the way her younger son is behaving. If you actually bothered to check the facts you would know that Diana was far from being totally innocent. All that you do by mentioning Harry’s defence of his mother is to encourage ordinary people like me to set the record straight - you cannot demonise Charles and make Diana into a saint. There is enough independent evidence on the internet to educate you on the facts about the relationship. Harry was 15 days away from being 13 when his mother died 26 years ago and William was 15!! Everyone seems to forget the fact that she was Williams mother too, the boys shared their grief, to suggest that it affected Harry more than William is doing a disservice to William’s feelings. The fact that Harry is still using Diana’s death to account for his actions is indicative of the fact that he needs proper therapy to put things in perspective and to move on with his life.

No, William doesn’t steal ‘their’ thunder, they never had it. They thought they had it, or at least they thought they were entitled to it, because ohh I'm a prince and I'm an actress, but unfortunately it takes more than that to get the respect of the people.

I can tell you as an American we LOVE the royals, we do not care for Hank and Skank!

There is no U.S. “crown” to be won (or stolen). Our respect, however, can be earned-and William seems to have grasped that. I was personally delighted that he went to the Billion Oyster Project. I live in the area and this is the first time I’ve seen news coverage of it since it first started. It’s a great project, and I’m glad William was able to bring some attention there.

The Sussex camp are far wealthier than they need so please, no more about their need to earn a living, what a load of rubbish. Their issues about security are absolute rot.

Well, I think the point of that was Harry and Meghan want to live an extravagant lifestyle which takes a lot, lot, lot of money. They have plenty of money to live a very comfortable life, but they need to make more because they want a life with every luxury that exists. Lots of servants, giant estates, designer clothing, expensive hobbies, etc.

Americans LOVE William and Catherine. Not so much H&M. Dignity, class, self-discipline, and caring for their family make the Wales' America's British favorite family.

I love all the Royals except the ones who walked away and slung lies, interviews when elderly grandparents dying giving interviews with racist lies, then after they died say it was the press. Hold children prisoners but want them on the Royal line. No respect if they are not part of the the family.

What love/hate relationship with Britain?While we may not all be enamored with Britain, I can’t think of anyone who hates it. Personally, I really like Britain and the British people. Harry and Meghan, not at all.
