Man! You’re killing me! I’ve been looking up routes to go to Nashville from where I am in western nc in smokies. It’s not far! Just gotta do it! Ive never had hot chicken like this. Looks like it it’s been brined and fried in a pressure cooker fryer. Dang that looks good! Gentry played it safe and Henry had old pickles Ha ha Y’all are a hoot!

@Sandra, the chicken here is so delicious! It is definitely, similar to a broasted chicken. So good and flavorful! Gentry and Henry really enjoyed their chicken tenders and macaroni and cheese. Well from Gatlinburg you could just follow 40 all the way to Briley Parkway in Nashville and I believe take the west exit to Nolensville Pike and skip the bad downtown traffic.

We have not tried Prince's but have researched it a bit. The chicken looked juicy and delicious. I (Cindy) would love to try it! David not so much and would stick with the original. Thanks so much for sharing this video.

@vafunseekers, Prince’s has some great chicken. It is so flavorful and fried to perfection. It’s not greasy at all, and their seasoning blend is excellent. If you like a little bit of spice, the light mild is a great choice, but if David does not care for spice, their plain fried chicken is still a great choice. They should offer samples so you can gage how spicy the food is before you buy it. One person’s spicy is another’s mild.

No. The place gets so busy that it gets chaotic in the small space. Their medium heat is fine and easy to tolerate. If you’re sensitive always order mild.

That is an excellent idea! We have found that their medium is similar to a hot at comparable Nashville hot chicken restaurants. We've also noticed that some nashville hot chicken is more oil based versus seasoned based. If you enjoy a little heat, they have some excellent chicken at Prince's.

This location of Prince’s has a self-serve drink station for soft drinks and sweet tea, which is perfect when you’re eating spicy foods. They did offer some bottled drinks as well. I had the hottest chicken they had at Hattie Bs just to see if I could do it. I made it out alive just barely but wonder how the heat compares to Princes if I ever went back would probably get just regular hot with no Xs on it so I imagine its about the same at Princes.

Out hat goes off to you for trying the hottest chicken that they have. We don't think we could do it. We think that the heat levels are fairly similar between the two, but there's definitely a noticeable difference in the taste between the two.

Should have started with the medium because it's just starting to get hot

Same to you… one thing that is better at Hattie B’s when you go is that you can have different levels of heat at the same time so try away!!! Also the sides are way better
