Great journalism. A masterclass in attribution, obfuscation, and the lack of a moral compass meeting the brick wall of a critical thinker. However, I humbly submit that the central anomaly is that the book is called “unauthorised” but was paid for by Mr. Mashaba. The author, the subject and the publisher have colluded and should answer!

Finally he is entangled and exposed in web of his lies

I think he did all these interviews too soon while still emotional, I feel sorry for he's reputation he had built

In fact, if anything, it was Clement who provided a much more concise definition of the idea of unauthorised book. Even during the interview Mashele did at enca, Mashele provided a warped explanation. Sally Burdett provided the correct explanation of what an unauthorised book.

What I meant by levelling the affront is that you haven't considered the knock on effects of dismissing a claim such as unauthorised under the auspices of not holding public office as if you do not know about civil society foundations like the Helen Suzman foundation or the Ahmed Kathrada foundation who regularly influence policy from outside the sphere of public office. I suppose the bitch of it is that an analyst is assumed to be independant by default, but if one will choose to be partial then it should be known so you will no longer be considered an analyst who can see both sides and come out above it all.
