True! But look at some of the footage from.the Queen's Coronation in 1953. Charles is there with his grandmother and aunt next to him. He didn't act out. He was 4 just like Louis is right now. Sure it was a different time and very different occasion. But, still he knew how to behave because he was probably told many, many times how important it was and not time to play.

I agree...but isn't most of their film footage to convince the public they are just like us. But they are not, this weekend is a fine example. Those children are the only people acting normally and authentically.

Typical behavior for his age and what a loving Mom. Would have been easier leaving him home with the nanny but he missed out other things his siblings went too and there were things he would enjoy seeing. I must say I am glad I did not have to raise my three under the eagle eye of cameras catching every facial expression. What a tolerant and patient people this Royal family is. There are even people trying to lipread their conversations and analyze their body language-talk about invasion of privacy. One has to be a strong well loved person to live like that.

Prince Louis is exuberant and doesn't see this kind of display every day. Of course some of it is scary and some fun. If he was ten and behaving like that then maybe yu got a problem. But he was exuberant when he was 15 months old! Remember that?

My son was like this. His dad had to have many a " talking to" with him. He is a fine, polite young man now. But handling him wasn't easy. We ran his little legs off doing sports, which helped a lot.

That affectionate boy booped his mother upside her head and covered her mouth with his hand and made loser gestures at her twice. He was confident alright however nothing affectionate about that. He also pulled a lil girl hair and Kate didn't make him apologize. All on display yesterday.

If History is any yardstick; and when talking Royal Family it is inevitable to talk about History, Louie is working his way into the next Andrew and Harry. He's in good company. He just needs to be gloriously entitled, close to the throne and denied the big prize when his older brother has his first child. We just have to look at Andrew and Harry how that disappointment will manifest itself. I am absolutely certain Andrew and Harry were also adorable and charming at Louie's age; they all were.

The thumbnail photo is just lovely! It's very endearing when we are allowed to see the Royals being natural. I loved it when Louis ran off to sit with his Grandpapa. He needed his ally when it was getting too much for him!

I watched the entire parade, and though I thoroughly enjoyed it, the event was long! I thought Louis was remarkably well behaved for a four-year-old, and Katherine's mom skills were impressive. She took him on several potty breaks, had a mom-bag with snacks and activities, did a great job of knowing when to correct him and when to ignore behavior, never lost her cool, continually re-engaged him with the parade, and didn't worry about sticky fingers and sloppy kisses while the cameras filmed everything. She's a real mom!

Yes, she is a very good mother - reminds me of Diana. One of the things I love about Catherine is when she speaking to any child - young or teenager - she comes down to their level and looks them in the eye as if to say, this is between the two of us, let us ignore the rest of the people. That is really special and the child knows that she is interested in them, and that it is not doing it because she have to. She have a beautiful gift with children and adults too

First 3 boys manageable, but the last one, holy moley. He was adhd. But they wait til school age to drug them. Now is not the time for meds for Louis. Let him have his life. I was reading some comments on these shots of him and about how they were going to have problems with him as he got older. I laughed. He’s 4. He’s meant to be cheeky. And omg. He spent two of those years in quarantine so he didn’t have the same raising that Charlotte and George did. Give him time. I absolutely love how calmly he was dealt with, even when he got a little wild. 🤣 but it was definitely entertainment for anyone watching during those long days.

Excuse me but you can tell by her face she is not relax, she even look a bit embrace when he shut her with his hand....he is really cute but I'm sure he is breaking the royal stupid protocol and she is not happy. Remind me Diana and Larry as that age. But he is a 2nd Larry breaking rules...I think since Larry break the rules with Magahn the monarchy realized the should shows more their human side. I see her and William more laughing and more romantic with each other and the monarchy has giving them more space to do human things. Yes, Louis loves Charles and vice versa. I love how comfortable Louis is, just walking over and climbing on grandpa's lap. Poor little Archie, missing out on cousins playing together, grandparents love. Really sad.

Duchess Kate is such a good mom! Lets them express themselves and gently reins them in to teach them; she's a natural mother

The little prince is an adorable, sweet, entertainer. The 2 other children are well mannered and also adorable. A sign of good parenting. 😘😘😘 🇺🇸

@@kaimalino528 They probably were sweet when they were little. When they reached puberty their hormones kicked in and they became interested in females. The king of Monaco is worse. King Edward worse. Charles terrible. Wallis just as bad as Meagan. Fergie (wow), banned...! Camila horrible, gross. Harry may turn himself around someday.🤔🙏🇺🇸

LOL, he is adorable. All 3 of those children were very well behaved considering all they had to attend and do over those 4 days. I think they did very well indeed.

Well behaved? They’re literally so young, not like they have a choice in the matter. What an old fashioned mindset. Would you have said the same if one of them suddenly threw a tantrum? Would that make them evil? They’re literally little Wendy…They could be calm one second and loud the other.

I marvelled at Prince Louis and his special moments during the ceremony’s. Most 4YO today would have an iPad open and be watching movies. The attention span of a 4YO is very short.

Kate seems like SUCH a good mum. Does not seem rigid & overly strict like I'd imagine her to be. What a lovely woman! The kids are adorable, especially Charlotte imo 😄
