No family is perfect, Harry!

My take after finishing the book Through this book I see that Harry has never been able to get over his mothers death and it’s understandable people deal with grief differently. I feel this book has helped him to get a lot off his chest and I hope he can make peace with himself. I like the fact he’s honest about weed,drugs,anxiety etc. But if he continues to go further than this book he is just going to look like the Prince of WAILS. I think Harry paints his dad in a much nicer light than he did in the hideous interview with Oprah which is nice and it seems like he does miss his brother. However I do feel that because of this book it may be a long time before his brother will trust him again whether it is Harry’s truth or not. I felt the part of the book where Harry drove through the tunnel at the speed his Mum went through really touched me. I can’t imagine the emotions he felt and the realisation he said going from she’s hiding to she’s dead. To say Harry couldn’t get his wife a therapist it sure sounds like a therapist has written a lot of this book and that he has spent most of his life with a therapist so why did he act like he didn’t have any therapists details for his wife when he had one on speed dial? I feel Harry contradicts himself so much in this book compared to what he has said when sitting down with Oprah. Harry says that is family didn’t have control over newspapers when they printed the story about him being on deaths door when he was a kid. But later when it comes to Meghan he acts as if his family could have done something. Harry mentions private details that the public doesn’t need to know such as his brother being circumcised but when anyone wants to talk about Harry and Meghan they are racist but personal details about other peoples lives is “their truth. Harry acts as if siblings don’t fight and don’t want to be associated with their younger siblings is because William is the Heir no it’s because you are the annoying younger sibling which happens in most families. The burial claims of the miscarried baby are questionable in the laws of america… The scary thing about Harry’s truth is he talks a lot about his mind blanking out certain parts of his life so how do we know what happened he says “memory winks out completely” then I was at the airport. Harry says he never callled the family racist WOW he sure led the public to believe that alongside his wife on Oprah. Harry says Willy found a place and invited me to stay with him or maybe I invited myself? What are statements like this suppose to mean Harry ? Harry spoke to a war survivor of nazi’s who told him stories but he won’t repeat them because they aren’t his stories to tell. But his dad having a teddy bear with him to help him over his childhood traumas is Harry’s story to tell? Harry and Meghans love story sounded beautiful this was probably my fav part of the book and maybe should have been more of the focus rather than his bitterness towards his family. I don’t believe that Meghan had never googled his family just because she didn’t recognise Prince Andrew at the side of the Queen…I just don’t buy that narrative Harry says that once when he spoke rudely to meghan and she said she wouldn’t stand for it. That he knew he had to deal with his anger within and that William had told him to go to therapy before..so why did he act like none of his family tried to help him. Harry said that his father adored meghan so why wasn’t he doing more in the press. If Charles adored meghan then it leads more to her actions rather than her colour that destroyed the relationship with King Charles As soon as Charles said he wouldn’t be able to pay for meghan as well and William and Kate Harry automatically goes to the fact that his dad was jealous of someone stealing the limelight from the King hahaha…give me a break So when he said he wanted to use Diana’s diamonds from her bracelet and turn it into meghans wedding ring William didn’t hesitate it giving it. So how then did Harry so quickly turn them into racists ? Harry said his father was delighted to learn he was going to be a grandfather again and William gushed and said you have to tell Kate.. pretty much sounded like William was excited. I do believe that the Queen was heavily influenced by the firm in her later years and I believe there is some truth to what Harry is saying there. I hope as a family they can work things out and remove this Kardashian drama from the screens

Thanks for the summary and comments :). I agree with you in all. TBH The more I learn about this book and his interviews the more I dislike him and Meaghan. Everything is so cringe, especially when you catch their lies.

I personally think that people underestimates Harry. I am of the opinion that the resentment he felt for William turned to into hate overtime. When he met Megan she played a large part in making this hate grow but she is not the villain as people make her out to be. Harry had these for a long time!! You don't just overnight starts to hate your brother. Even while they wanted their famous "privacy" he was already making deals behind his family's back. As America loves the Royals I think they thought that with this series and book they will get a lot of publicity and people will rally behind them in America as well as across the world in sympathy due to his mistreatment and they will be seen as the new and fresh face of the Royals. I honestly think that he thought this will make him the new king.

He said himself that they been having issues since the death of their, then more when Kate joined and more with MM arrival but for some reasons, some people are desperate to blame the whole thing on MM. If she is that powerful, wouldn't it make more to have her on their side than against? 😉

Whew child, family drama and you know the institution isn’t going to comment.

We all know he's a damaged person with lots of trauma in his heart. When your child is going a different path during his younger years and was not guided accordingly, is he at fault when he grows up of how he/she becomes? They're all throwing the blame on him, yes partly he's at fault, but where is the other part? Who's the other part that should be at fault? Clearly, there are some parenting issues here. A child will not grow holding grudges for no reason. Childhood will always have an effect to your adulthood. Is it all his fault? Is it all his fault he was raised that way? Is it all his fault he bacame the man he is now?

Do you have children? Wow No, not always parents are the problem!!!!! In my family NOT a dysfunctional , parents never cheated on each other, no alcohol, no fightings, mom nurse, father parâmes, we all (5 children) had the same education and parenting!!! My older sister was so rebel since she was little…. She was soooo manipulative… so angry all the time and at 17 years old she left home with a group of guys and girls and moved out. She brought soooo much pain to us as a family. Now she is almost 50 and when we meet together very rare, she always is atacking us, always belittle us, always is sensitive and difficult

@@eg7942 I think we all deal with grief differently. We can't compare the experience of one with the other. They both suffered the same loss but dealt with their grief differently. Harry may not have done it in a healthy way but that's how he tried to cope. You also have to know that mental health wasn't talked about as much during this time.

I wonder at what age Meghan & Harry will hand over the book for their children to read?

A good read for a 12 year old. Most of us are adults whom enjoy adult content. Most of us have gone through the same things in grade 6 and growing up. But that’s just it. WE GREW UP! Even the language he uses is grade school level. So, yea. If you’re 12y/o I’m sure you’d find this book interesting.

It seems he's using his mother's memory to make $$$$$$$ & his jealousy for his older brother if off the scale

i think there is no major issue with the book.. he was just sharing experiences that made him who he is now.... it just goes to show that no one is perfect... including royals 😊. that is how media makes the situation worst, with all the humanitarian efforts of meghan and harry, i am sure they will surpass the popularity of william and kate and because of that, they are ripping off the good image of harry and meghan. just saying...

Maybe it is a good thing he does not resemble anyone in his family, he is a heartache and a disappointment after all.
