I assumed Harry didn't have transplants due to how thin his hair is. It would look a lot better if he kept it very short, IMO. The longer hair makes it looks like he is trying to hide it but it just accentuates what is missing. I prefer William's embracing it, cut short. Either go all in with the transplants (when younger), or go short and embrace it.

I managed some regrowth thickening and have kept what I have . At 50 , I have long grey hair . I just kept recedes and lost a cm or 2 off my forehead. It’s ok to not want to lose it. Thanks for your advice and work . Respect to guys who rock and own their baldness.

I think hair loss bothers men a lot more than it bothers women. I think they hate it more for how it accentuates their age more than how it effects their appearance. I agree, The Prince of Wales is a very handsome man with or without his hair. Many women, myself included, think bald men are gorgeous but, they have to own it. Prince William definitely got Prince Albert's baldness gene (Victoria's Consort, not King George VI) and he's obviously strong and confident enough to embrace it. @@arribaficationwineho32 Exactly. Harry hails from a family with a genetic predisposition to hair loss, and it's evident that this trait holds considerable dominance within the Prince's lineage. In all honesty, I find it remarkable that his hair endured for as long as it did. This serves as a poignant reminder that no amount of wealth can truly shield anyone from the realities of health concerns or conditions like hair loss. Regardless of one's financial status, we're all participants on the same playing field when it comes to matters of life and death, health and well-being. The lesson is clear: a person's riches or poverty hold little sway in the face of health considerations. If we factor out stress, living on the streets, taking drugs, etc, a wealthy individual in good health can expect a lifespan comparable to that of someone less affluent but equally healthy and that's the way it should be.

I don’t think there’s a photoshop conspiracy behind it. (Maybe if it’s for a magazine cover but other than that, no) I think because of his natural hair color, the thinning didn’t appear as visually prominent as much (like with darker hair color); and I’ve noticed it also depended on the angle (front, profile, top view etc.) that you view him. But now his hair loss has progressed to where angle doesn’t matter and it’s more visible in general.

His hair is such a strange fuzzy texture it always looks like he needs to comb, brush or do something to the scruffy mess. Everyone keeps saying he is getting transplants and maybe he has had them in the past but when a person suddenly gets a full head of hair after showing much baldness like Harry did in Japan I think they most likely have one of those wigs that glue on. I know a woman that lost all her hair on top in her fifties and she goes once a month to get her glue on wig adjusted and her bottom hair cut around the wig. It looks very natural and these once a month visits involve taking the glued on wig off and shaving the top of her head smooth, a good shampoo all over her head and then the wig glued on again and the natural hair she has left cut to fit the wig. You can't tell she has a glued on wig and she looks good with it but I think it would drive me crazy. She can shampoo it herself but I think my head would itch me to death and also make me hot in the summer. Each to his own though.

Never make fun of another man's hair unless you have a signed document from God that you will keep all of your hair." I have witnessed too many guys who made fun of guys who were losing hair during their college years, only to see them later on with hair loss themselves. Also, don't be the obnoxious guy "Drew" in the movie "Office Space" who is the picture definition of Chad or Brett. I have seen these kinds of guys get life payback with hair loss.

Harry’s hair texture has changed… as a child he had smooth, straight hair. Now his hair now appears coarse, frizzy and haphazard (looks like a multitude of cowlicks or hair has a mind if it’s own… growing in every which direction). His scruffy beard doesn’t do him any favours and appears to draw more attention to his male pattern baldness … perhaps he grew a beard to compensate for his hair loss. The thinning on his crown has almost a ‘halo’ effect as you can see a circular, shiny scalp through the sparse hairs. It appears that his type and texture of hair doesn’t seem well suited for transplanting. He’d look better (and less like a court jester) if he went the Mike Tindall route and shaved it all off.

Keeping my expectations low, if I ever have to get a hair transplant and can afford one, I'd personally get a high hair line with heavily receded temples and focus on having density on frontal forelock and then some density on crowns. As far as I'm concerned, a high M shape hairline would be good enough for me. The sides usually get decently camouflaged too depending on your hair style and length if you really want to hide it. But it's hard to cover the centre and frontal forelock.

I am a female with receding temple and widows peak, but not really a widening part. I am on Rogaine, the directions say to use on the hairline, but I use it only on the temples and front of my hairline. Am I wasting my time? I think I see a small result on temples, but it is very minimal. i also am using on my eyebrows and I do see a significant result there. My question is should I be using on my part even though my hair loss is noy really there or does Rogaine work on frontal hair loos and temples. I am also taking Nutrifol and I do see an increase in overall thickness.... I think.

My question is: do hair transplants actually last long term? My mom hand one in her 50’s but it didn’t last.

yes they should last the rest of your life. Sadly women have usually diffused hairloss ( losing hair all over instead of receding in one place) . I hope they come up with solutions as this certainly is more devastating for women to lose hair. I'm not sure why your mom;s did not last.

No Harry I’m not a fan of yours after you caused so much stress to your grandparents in their last years of life.

I hate the fact that Harry bragged about his hair to his brother and admitted the bullying in his book without shame. He repeatedly bullied William and thought it was cute but clearly had a transplant that he omitted in his "Tell all Book"

It’s Harry’s book. He’s not obligated to share anything he doesn’t want to. He doesn’t owe the public anything.

@@susanmetz9892 I agree but when he said that he made fun of William's hair loss yet he had multiple hair transplants is hypocritical and cruel. He's not obligated to say anything about his hair but he shouldn't be so vocal about picking on other's struggles when he clearly isn't perfect either. Even if he never lost a hair on his head and didn't get a transplant he should have never publicly shamed William for something entirely out of his control.
