You are without a doubt, one of the most intellectual commentators I have heard on You Tube. I love watching your videos. I can understand Harry feeling like he is 12, even at his age. My mother died when I was 7. I am 72 and part of me feels like I am a frightened 7 year old. Yes, I have been in therapy my whole adult life for my PTSD. SO, as much as I feel sorry for Harry and can understand his damage, I do not try to destroy other people. My damage I keep inside, Harry shows it to the world with vitriol and vengeance. There is no excuse for that. I know King Charles loves him, but he needs to keep him away from his coronation. Either way, King Charles' coronation will be ruined for him whether Harry is there or not. This is a state event paid for by the people. Harry is a traitor to his Country, the Monarchy and his Family. He is not wanted. It is sad that you can't force an adult to get proper help. Harry is delusional and needs to be in a mental hospital, not therapy!

Sorry to read about your loss. My son, two and half years ago woke up to find his partner of six years had died in her sleep, she was 31. Life does go on and some have different ways of coping. Harry was surrounded by support and many professional onlooks via his advantages in education, that you and I would never have had. We all remember the young sons following behind the cortege and wonder how they did it, but Harry forgets, his father flew to Paris and returned with his mother, he walked with them, HE DIDN'T HAVE TO, no one would have been any the wiser had he not done those things. I had hoped that the boys, now particularly Harry would have learned something from this experience that he that day, was to walk for his mother, that as a grown man appreciated he had only ONE OPPORTUNITY to have done that and remembered those that stood by his side, to give him the last opportunity: His father, His grandfather, His brother, His uncle. Yet he has been cruel to his father, grandfather (Oprah show) and now his brother, via this book. Sadness beyond belief. HE SHOULD NOT ATTEND THE CORONATION, fully. agree.

When asked to share a personal story one student in my college class wrote about how his father was murdered by the Khmer Rouge and year later he, his elderly mother, sister and little brother spent 3 days escaping, facing death at every turn only to end up living in a refugee camp for three years. (Which he was greatful for because they were together and had food). He learned to speak English and eventually the family came to live in Canada. So H&M flying on a private jet to a mansion to 'find freedom' as they tell it is a joke.

If Harry had actually been on the ground when he was "fighting the Taliban", he would've understood pain and suffering that non-royal people experience. But, this is how you know he did diddly squat in Afghanistan. He has no point of reference, no nuance to any of his arguments, he sees nothing beyond his little bubble of privilege and wealth, and it's all black and white to him -- if ppl don't agree with him, then they're against him.

Great story! Very inspirational. Unfortunately, inspiration is what H&M are missing along with a lot of other character flaws. They are truly narcissists possesing many distastful traits including no regard, no empathy for others, and are completely out of touch with the real world. Your student should be extremely proud of all his accomplishments. Obviously, H&M have no pride as they continue on their path of egotistical, self-centered arrogance. The "joke" here is on them. They are not fooling any of us anymore. Simply put, if you don't seek attention, chances are good you won't get any. Thank you for sharing.

(see YT, Royal Reviewer, "PH says I generally don't like England", 7 Dec 2020) This rather goes to prove that Harry has never behaved (with dignity) like a prince, or spoken (with diplomacy) like a prince, or treated other people (with politeness) like a prince, in his entire life !!

I was in the military around the same time as Harry. I was involved in some of the same exercises and we know some of the same people. He was absolutely helped through training and given massive dispensations through his career. He was never placed in any real danger (AH-64 was the safest place to be on the Afghan battlefield) and insulted many by flouting the rules to wear his dress uniform with a beard. You don’t need a degree to be a Major in the UK Army btw. The issue would be what jobs he could realistically do. He obviously wanted the thrill and prestige of deployed operations and not the mundane but important work of being a staff officer.

If your story is true (sorry, have read one too many fanfiction in comments over the years, please don't take it personally) - I'm truly sorry. I know soldiers have better things to do, but that still must have been frustrating as all hell. I hope nobody was physically harmed due to him taking up sanity and resources. I'm a woman who is the polar opposite of 'suited for any kind of military function', but even I can see that Harry has NOTHING to him that tells me he was a good soldier. William, as the heir, was not allowed to be put in danger, but at least he flew SAR for a while after he got married - which is a lifeline. And when I look at him, I see an honourable, decent, well-mannered man, as one would expect from a soldier/officer.

That observation and assessment of their co-dependent dynamic as a couple was so succinctly, perfectly phrased. He DOES infantilise himself. He constantly shirks responsibility, rationalising his actions and finding manipulative ways to shift blame whilst living a grossly entitled, self-referential life whilst attached to a dominant personality (Markle), bonding toxically over dysfunctional families and a sense of being an undiscovered, overlooked great genius. They both have this frustrated, bloated self-regard and both have issues with their fathers whilst idolising their mothers. He most certainly DOES look at Markle as some kind of intellectual ballast/guru and some version of a mother figure. The bit in the Spare audio book where he talked about massaging Elizabeth Arden 8 hour Cream into his dong whilst inhaling the nostalgic fragrance and thinking of his mother was beyond Freudian. 🤢

Your military experience gave you the perfect authority to reveal what no one was able to - scrutinize Harry's military experience. Much thanks!!! All the while, people were treading on eggshells about Harry's stint in the military, even though a lot of leaks come out about the truth of his military "experience". Having you analyze that his account is incongruous with real life in a military hierarchy nails that one last thing I could not fit into his narrative... HOW could he spend 10 years in the military and have no sense of respect for it? Yeah yeah yeah, there was INVICTUS, but it was the palace staff who did all the concept and legwork for him to be its figurehead. His attitude about the marine event he chucked for Lion King Premier, how he just sold the gun collection his grandfather gifted him, how he paid lip service to charity initiatives that benefit soldiers yet not a single cause taken under his belt. And he's all of in his 30s. INVICTUS maybe appealed to him because it is high profile? He seem to love the accoutrements of military, but value not their true meaning. He never got why his grandmother (or father) turned down his request to "lay his own wreath at the Cenotaph" on UK's Remembrance Day - because Royals don't do it for themselves, but as representatives of the people. He literally sulked and went and did his own Remembrance Day photo-op with the wife on US cemetery! His stint in the military was just as shallow as his wife's accomplishments as an actress!

Regarding the book being a financial success: according to Lady C, there are some indicators that this is a lie. When they talk about book sales, they seem to be talking about how many copies were shipped to stores and not about sales. I forget the exact wording she picked up on, but she said that this wasn't sales, but shipping books to stores. She also said that the book went on sale months before it was released to stores. No one has ever paid full price for the book because of this fact, so the publishing house is not earing back the costs of producing it. All this talk about the book being a success is a total lie according to Lady C, and I think she is correct. In my country, I checked out reviews for Harry's book on our biggest book sales platform online and the book had 5 stars and only 12 reviews, all of which were from Harry and Meghan fans. 12 reviews. No one is buying this book in my country. It is on the shelves in the bookstores collecting dust. I wonder if it's the same for other countries.

I was looking forward to your review of this book! Mainly the military stuff, TBH. None of it sits right with me. I am not a military veteran, but my grandfather served in the Air Force for over 20 years before a stroke forced him into retirement. My dad served and that is how he met my mom in South Korea forever ago. So, what I know is from their memories. I was as appalled by most people with basic common sense, and who know the Taliban's reputation of carrying lifelong grudges, just look how long it took them to catch up to Salman Rushdie. He survived his attack, thankfully, but this almost deadly attack occurred 30 years after the Taliban put a bounty on his head over his book "The Satanic Verses", that they considered blasphemous to their religious beliefs. Harry claims the British Press twisted his words regarding his referenced kill count of 25 Taliban soldiers, that he claims you are taught in the British military to think of as chess pieces. I did not believe that for a second, and got my confirmation when retired, high ranking military officers were all over the morning news debunking Harry's claim of the military teaching you to look at enemy soldiers as less than human. What is really sickening and insulting is Harry's justification for publishing this garbage. He claims that his giving a kill count and justifying the killing of enemy soldiers by not thinking of them as actual people that might have families waiting for their return home, but as chess pieces on a board, would keep soldiers suffering from PTSD from killing themselves. I would love an explanation from this moron as to how he made this ridiculous leap. Harry is not merely dim. He is full on stupid. He couldn't even pass art without cheating, to graduate, and this is hugely telling of how low his IQ must be considering art is subjective.

He was still 3rd in line to the throne for some years before George was born. How did he get away with doing all sorts of drugs and a large alcohol content when he was in the military? A year after he met Meghan in 2016 and just quit everything cold turkey? Did he lie on his immigration application? He did not creat Invictus on his own but takes full credit. He would tell his supervising officer that he was needed back home to tend to royal duties and not return until screenings were done, and he was in the clear. It is safe to assume he checked the "no" box on his immigration forms from when asked if he has been taking illegal drugs. The preferential treatment this ungrateful man child got, is off the scale, and makes his attacks on his family even more infuriating, especially when it has been proven, time and again, how much support Meghan got and what looks like preferential treatment she received in comparison to what was done for Princess Catherine when she joined the family, with brutal/unfair press coverage, that also targeted her parents. The dish soap ad is ridiculous, and she damn well knows that no one with common sense believes it, yet she will forever take credit for it. Her father, Thomas, whom I really do pity and what she has done to him is just evil, IMP, was the male equivalent to a "stage mom". He definitely played a huge role in who she grew up to be. He is the reason she believed that her letter made them change the ad, when she was 11. There is no excuse for believing it once she entered into adulthood, though. NONE!

Maybe you should be helping those children in jail that are accused of being adults. They took the wrong road after a parent died yet you all view those children differently. And why do you do that ? Because they don’t have Prince in front of their names. Come on quit making excuses for this man. Why aren’t you you helping poor 12 year old Harry take the older woman to court for rape. If Harry is mentally 12 that’s prison time as she would have known he was mentally a child. Get your facts straight Harry is not a child physically or mentally.

You made so many great points in your review that I can't even list them as I intended to in order to give specific responses and thanks. You have character and are not regurgitating what everybody else is saying but generating your own thoughts, free from trendy prescription. I can tell, simply by noticing what your sticking points were and then how you explained your displeasure. You're self-propelling, bold and idiosyncratic as a thinker. Increasingly rare in this era. The clues are all there and I'm excited to see how you evolve as a content creator, and indeed as a human being. Great channel. Smart, witty, individual and spicy. Just how I like 'em. 🌶🌶🤸‍♀🤸‍♀🏋‍♀🏋‍♀🥰

FANTASTIC video. Thanks for trudging through that book. I refuse to buy anything that supports them. You’re a trooper. I’m glad to hear your insights about his stint in the military especially his dubious entrance. William was never given such passes. William wasn’t the perfect student but he still dove into his studies. He was never given special treatment because he has the greatest pressure on his shoulders for his eventual future. - - By the way that Elton John French estate portion was like a joke. Their mooching of their “friends’” stately homes just to getaway seems to keep coming up a lot. - - Anyway you are radiant and brilliant. You’ve been of great service to us all!

Aside from all you pointed out there were so many other little things that made no sense but were said to be fluffy. Like when Harry came home and the gravy was bubbling away on the stove while meghan was stuffing a chicken with garlic and lemons ready to be roasted 🙉 and how he came home to find meghan sobbing on the floor uncontrollably after her Kensington shop trip yet she had somehow managed to cook a delicious meal before breaking down... 😆 Meghan wishes with all her tiny heart the paps were chasing them everywhere

Why would anybody cook gravy before they first stuffed and then baked the chicken. Gravy is made from the drippings after it is baked. Somebody with no cooking experience is trying to fake a warm home atmosphere. They are both equally fake and equally disgusting.

Thank you for this one. I haven't found many commentators who a) actually read the book, and b) are willing to speak about the weirdness of his military service. My mum actually served and couldn't believe half the things that were in that section. My weirdest takeaways were that a) he spent two years learning to fly a helicopter and then never became a pilot, b) he took four years off from serving but still counts this as part of his ten years of service, and c) took two civilian body guards on his second tour of duty. Honestly, it was all so weird. I thought it was a good point you made about him giving his number. He wanted people to know he actually served as a proper soldier rather than x-box Harry. It is kind of sad though because the military depends on so many people to function yet Harry only thinks someone who kills others is a real soldier. Like how he berates the man, whose literal job is to review the footage from his missions, for being too thorough. I got the impression that without him Harry would be killing people left, right, and centre - and that would be a war crime. Yet Harry dismisses him as being jealous of him going into combat. It was so frustrating to read.

The prep school where I taught sometimes had pupils who went on to Eton. The ones of about his age who came back to visit after leaving said Harry was probably the least able (not the words they used) pupil who had even been there.

It wasn’t the Royal Family who pulled their security in Canada either. It was one of the few things our PM did right. And Catherine and William were on their infamous break during that time so dragging Catherine into it disgusts me.

Applause. Well written and well presented. There comes a point in life, called adulthood, when you learn to count your blessings and discard the futility of assigning blame. Harry is a child, a spoiled child who wed a spoiled child bride.

Excellent book review. Your comment on army experience and comparison to his incredibly privileged 10 years (that he constantly raves on about) opened my eyes to the truth. We have heard many commentaries on this book but Its the first time I have heard someone with actual military knowledge give a realistic comparison of his "time in Afghanistan" and the strict rules, regulations and obedience of normal army life . How incredibly privileged he was. He made out that he was just one of the boys and suffered terribly like everyone else. I didn't really believe it but you have provided real knowledge. I didn't know about the months mental breaks in France and Africa and of course he always had a security officer protecting him whilst "fighting" in Afghanistan. I have also heard that he did not pass his pilots license and was a gunner. Thank you and congratulations.
