Ferris: Besides being the Duchess of Sussex, a title she acquired upon her marriage to Prince Henry (affectionately known as "Prince Harry"), Meghan Markle's official title is Princess Henry of Wales. Since she was not born a princess, she cannot be called a princess in her own right. But she does have the princess title through her husband, which is mostly likely to be used in paperwork, and possibly some extremely formal functions. FYI, like the Duchess of Cambridge (wife of William, Duke of Cambridge and older brother of Harry) in legal documents, Meghan Markle's occupation will be shown as "Princess of the United Kingdom." (Whew! This royal title business is complicated!)

varani 757 Likely a little concerned about the wind & her dress I think. She tied her coat at the end for a little more protection but would be conscious that her wearing the dress is a bonus for the designer so wouldn't have wanted to cover up too quickly. Someone should have maybe warned her about Wellington being windy 99% of the time. Plus those planes aren't made for comfort as far as I understand so four months pregnant plus wind-buffeted landing = a little queasy I expect. Still gracious & lovely though.
