On the evening of September 28, 2017, Jo-Ann Wong, past librarian of the Chancellor Robert R Livingston Masonic Library, presented a lecture featuring treasures of the Library’s Books and Artifacts collection relating to Prince Hall and his involvement with the inception of African Lodge No. 439. The materials highlighted by Ms. Wong in this lecture include a 1792 "Charge" Prince Hall led in Massachusetts and a facsimile of the charter for African Lodge No. 459
