Today we saw the Queen, the three heirs to the throne, the Queen of Denmark, the King and Queen of Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium and Sweden, the Prince of Monaco and many more european Royals, as well as the Royal family, politicians and represantatives of all sorts, being perfectly able to safely and gracefully attend a service in memory of the late Prince Philip. They all felt safe under the protection standards these kind of events have. Prince Philip was a wonderful family man and a role model in service and duty. He impacted so many generations and left a great legacy. They all came for one purpose. To honor the outstanding life of Prince Phillip and to show their respect to the Queen. They did it gracefully, silently, whith no drama or whatsoever.

To achieve this quickly and without bloodshed, the British Government, with the agreement of the British people, raised an enormous loan which enabled them to buy the freedom of the slaves. The alternative would have dragged through the courts for years. The British Navy blocked the East African Slave Ports preventing slaves being shipped out and they also blockaded the coast of Brazil and the USA who were still trying to import slaves. The repaying of this loan and the interest on it has meant that every British taxpayer over 200 years has paid towards abolishing slavery,. Slavery is a continuing evil in this age. It affects people of all colours and religions, young and old. It’s vstill something to crusade against

HER mother the wife of the King George VI, Queen Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon would have been their GREAT-GREAT Grandmother. There is not a great great living today to the children of William and Kate. (Unless on Kates side).

So Prince George and Princess Charlotte can support their Great Grandmother by attending the service in honor of their Great Grandfather, Prince Philip, but Harry can't be bothered to take the time to fly to the UK? How selfish of Harry to not be there for his Grandmother. His Grandmother who was there for him after his own mother died. The same Grandmother who has put up with his attacks and rude behavior. Harry's Grandmother is not in good health and Harry knows this and yet he still doesn't attend. Now that Harry is a part of the Hollywood crowd, is he now friends with the likes of Will Smith, Alex Baldwin and Travis Scott? Certainly wouldn't be surprising.

Funny how people see things differently. Had he attended ALL EYES WOULD HAVE BEEN ON HIM. I would imagine he was even asked NOT to attend. Had he attended, Your comments would have been judging how he walked or talked every look every blink he made and what he wore. While a public affair with more in attendance than the actual private family funeral, this day was not a day for tabloid fodder. It was MOST RESPECTFUL for him not to attend this event.

Yes Charles will become king and take his name as king . He might go with George like his grandfather king George the VI who birth name was Albert Frederick Arthur George or he can keep Charles and become King Charles III or go with another name . The duke of Cambridge will become the duke of Cornwall and take over the duchy of Cornwall . The duchy of Cornwall is held by the eldest son of the reigning Monarch. Same process will proceed when William becomes king. Prince George will be duke of Cornwall as so and so on .
