Prince Charles and Camilla welcomed by President of Ireland
The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall met President Michael D Higgins and his wife Sabina on their two-day annual visit to Ireland.
At the Glencree Centre for Reconciliation in County Wicklow, Prince Charles unveiled an engraving of a poem by Una O’Higgins O’Malley, a late founding member.
The royal couple also visited Powerscourt Estate in Enniskerry, where Prince Charles planted a young Giant Redwood tree, which should live to be over a thousand years old.

It's a bit sad to see the Prince walk as though his knees hurt. Age comes to us all, but still he and his parents are so active for their age. Bless.

I think that Queen Elizabeth should retire and have Charles become the King while he still has a significant number of good years before him. I know that the Queen is much devoted to her country, but she has served beyond the call of duty. She should retire and just enjoy life to the fullest, which may be for many years to come.

Seems the realtionship between the Royals and Irish President esp. the current one are good, for the past 5 yrs. they are a constant guest.👌
They really make a great couple and work well together

I bet they did at the tax payers expense. I am a Irish person didn't won't them here people have very short memories What a waste of money. And the country down on it's knees.

Never should have happened. Sorry but as an Irish person I am entitled to my opinion and I am disgusted by this. My ancestors would be turning in their graves
Last year Prince Charles and his wife were visiting N.Ireland at this time.Some children almost missed A level exams because of security road blocks etc.I hope this wasn't repeated in the south this year.
