A trick I like to do is wait for someone else to repeat similar information. The way I see it, it's the only way to confirm if the information is false or not, but even that can go the other way around as well.

That's generally the case whenever they make Hollywoodized depictions of people. Lol

The fact that they had a civil ceremony and not actually a wedding kind of fits, not to mention the fact that by this time, they are both like in their 50s or whatever. They had an entire affair for many, many years, decades, even. They hurt a lot of people (including their children) and did not care whatsoever or even have any remorse for their actions. I heard that King Charles III was upset when Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip refused to attend his wedding, and I don't exactly blame her choice. His mother made it perfectly clear early on that she did not approve of Camille hell none of the royals (from what I heard and read) approved of Camille. But they torlerated her because they thought that she was a fling and that Charles would eventually move on, and when that did not happen, then The Crown had to step in and force his hand a bit. It's sad that Diana had to go through what she went through with Charles because she did not deserve any of it and yes, she may not be completely innocent in all of these but to be completely honest I don't exactly blame her either. Charles was off having his love affair with Camille expecting Diana to just stay at home in that big empty palace and pop out heir after heir for him while also going through depression and I think postpartum and bulimia as well. He was an awful husband to her, and it was very clear in the show, and in real life, he didn't even try to make the marriage work. Diana truly loved Charles, and she was led to believe by him that he loved her too, but that simply was not the case. I think the real King Charles III hates this show because it portrays him as someone he was in real life, especially towards Diana. Let's face it both Camille and King Charles III truly deserve each other in the show and in irl, they are two selfish, horrible, awful monsters who hurt their individual spouses and no remorse for it. They even hurt their own children and had no remorse for it. They broke up their own families and had no remorse for it. So whatever Karma has in store for them in the near future is probably exactly what they deserve.

The problem is that he was the future head of the Church of England - that's why it was forbidden. These people (monarchs) are not supposed to be like everyone else; otherwise, why are they there? Why would things have to change for Charles, and alter the public's image of what a monarch is? If Charles thought Camilla and his personal desires were more important than duty and being king, then he did not have to be king; but he wanted it both ways. The Queen's uncle, King Edward VIII (a full-blown king!) had to abdicate for wanting to marry a divorced woman. And the Queen did not allow even her own sister, Princess Margaret, to marry a divorced man. Queen Elizabeth forbade Margaret from marrying a divorced man despite the fact that by that time, it was clear she was never going to be Queen, since Queen Elizabeth had already given birth to an heir, Charles, as well as Ann. So, if King Edward and Princess Margaret couldn't do it, why should Charles be able to do it? No one is bigger than the Crown...except Charles.

As weddings are supposed to be about love and happiness and a new life ahead, involving a celebration by the families, the oddness of this church 'blessing' as more a 'begging for forgiveness from wickedness' seemed very peculiar. The actual wedding in a municipal registry office without the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh present was very strange too. I suppose the 'happy couple' just had to grit their teeth that day and get through the ritual humiliation - then get on with their lives.

Cause Charles was immature like a teenage boy who couldn't get what he wants. Honestly his soulmate could be anyone, he was deprived of love when he was younger, he just need to meet someone who can show him that love first. Camilla was the first apparently, but hey could have been avoided if the RF arranged for ladies they selected to meet him first.

I can only say that it would have avoided a lot of pain...but we wouldn't have William and Harry, and Kate would be without her true love. And who's to say Charles would have been a better person/father without his burdens? Hell, would the average person even care about the monarchy if Diana wasn't a part of it? I don't know...but I frankly don't want to think about that alternative history.

It wasn't a bad wedding I remember. But it was always done with the understanding that she won't be anything more than Charles' wife, and yes, queen one day, nothing more than that. She at least has since then did her duty as his wife and future queen, which is more than I can say for women like Wallis Simpson, Lillie Langtry, Daisy Warwick and Alice Keppel. She's not living in any fantasy where she's beloved by all and can get away with anything. That is to her credit I guess that she's accepted she will, and has never been, a princess.

what are you on about? She has been a princess and is now a queen. the other women you mention were either royal mistresses in which case tehy had no royal duties, or married to a former king after he abdicated, again no reason to do royal duties.

camilla and charles were VERY lucky the queen decided to let them marry.they had an affair for so many years.charles betrayed diana .he never loved her really.he only married her because his mom and grandma forced him to .and since camilla was already married he couldnt have her.diana truly fell in love with him and did her best to make it work with charles.but his hook ups with camilla made that impossible.i think the boys were DEFINITELY against it especially william and i dont blame him.to this day i believe he blames camilla and charles for dianas death

Why exactly was it so important for Charles to marry a virgin? It isn’t like other monarchs (ie Henry VIII) had to marry one.

I can't imagine what Harry must have been feeling during this entire ceremony. I mean, he lost his mother at 12 years of age and then his father goes off and marries the woman who helped to break up their family and hurt his mother. While Charles was happy and probably having a party and a victory lap at finally getting what he had always wanted which was to marry Camille, his two sons were suffering inside, especially Harry. It's clear here and probably in really life too that Charles only cared about his happiness and what he wanted. He wasn't thinking about his sons or anything else and that's just sad. And this whole a King or Queen has to married is just bull crap to me because if Queen Elizabeth I can be Queen and not be married even in like the 15th or 16th century or whatever than I'm pretty sure that the same rules can apply in the 20th and 21st century as well.

Both of them deserved each other. They were literally born for each other. Equally ugly with rotten souls, no morals and principles. Charles was d luckiest of all men as he married the most beautiful lady God has put on earth with a beautiful soul and a heart of gold. No doubt, the love is blind as he wanted Camilla who is not even good looking while been married to the most beautiful woman in the whole world. Diana the Queen of hearts was loved by people all over the world. May she rest in Peace.Amen

If you are truly a Diana fan then you would show some respect to her first live and ex-husband, if diana were alive she would have not wanted people hating camilla or charles. Camilla does not have a rotten soul and is ugly she is beautiful inside out and hels others, she always loved Andrew her forst husband but he cheated her million times. So she didn't break her own marriage. Yes she rekindled her affair with charles in 1979 to see what her husband would do he didn't do anything except laugh and proud thst she was becoming a mistress like her great grandma, that must have broke her heart to see the man she loved and chased for years betray her like that. People are so ignorant towards camillas feelings. She is only human after all. She is actually storing and forgiving person, she forgave her husband, and ended the marriage on good terms, she forgave diana for ever hurting her, she forgave the royal family, she sees the good in others, she is respectful person. She dies cry but not in public, she keeps a strong face and smiles all the time. I love her for that and everything she does

Diana may have been the 'wrong' wife for Charles but it just occurred to me maybe he was never got to be royal to begin with? The queen and Philip loved Diana and saw her royal potential. Charles got jealous and tried to smother it. I think Diana was a brilliant future Queen but Charles was just not ready to be her prince.

Another bogus scene. William was not drinking hard liquor and toasting a picture of his parents nor was QEll of ill ease (that was H&M's wedding). The congregation and crowds were boisterous, the mood was very celebratory with the boys excitedly dancing around and Anne, QEll and Philip beaming. The layout is not even accurate as Camilla was seated next to QEll who quite enjoyed the service. And there was no agita over the repentance which the whole congregation partook and is common in services. The Crown is ignorant of this and agenda driven conjecture. There is actual footage of all this.

Ahhh I remember Prince Charles and Camillas wedding, we were posted to Aldershot at the time and it wasn't far up the road to Windsor to go and watch, lovely occasion so classy and love just beams from them both when they are together, Camilla looked so perfect and its lovely to see our King as he is now so happy at last
