Primus Gravity III - Sturdy and powerful stove for hiking
Primus Gravity III - It is a sturdy and powerful stove to boil your water or fry your fish on the mountain.
I wanted a more sturdy stove after my MSR fell and almost started a fire. Gravity II have four legs that are wider than the platform where your kettle goes.
In this video I am setting up the Primus Gravity III and boils water in 2,5 minutes and then I compare it to other stoves.

I must blame my wifey for the tipping of the stove, but it gave me a good excuse to get even another stove for the collection :)

Great review! I've been researching canister stoves for weeks now and I've decided I feel safer going with a remote canister stove, plus I like the versatility they offer compared to the regular canister stoves. The store I'm looking at purchasing from doesn't have it listed as to whether it's the III version so I've sent them off a message to find out, but it comes with everything your does. I have a few questions for you regarding it 1) Is it light enough for backpacking 2) Can you use smaller pots on it or just large ones? 3) What light weight pot sets would be safe to use on it, Titanium? or would I only be able to use SS? 4) Seeing as you posted this video Aug 2020, how are you liking the stove now, is it still your favorite? Have you had any issues with it breaking down or found any mechanical weakness's or other problems with it? Like you, I think I'd want to purchase a different windscreen, would you recommend a full height one or shorter one?

Thank you for commenting! I will try to answer it: 1: I have no problems with packing it in my backpack. It was the one I used on my 5-day hike last summer. 2: as long as the pot can rest on the stove and not stand on the burner itself it is good. 3: I don’t have much experience with titanium so I cannot answer this question. The stove is still my favorite and it is as good as new. I like a tall windscreen to stop any wind from sneaking over the top and into the fire. I hope I answered some questions 👍🏻
Shitzzaaaa!! I hadn't seen you had uploaded more content 😃 excellent primus. I've got one of the older models that supports the different types of fuels and it is SICK fast in use regardless of what time of year it is 😃

Ser ut som en bra brenner til å steke pannekaker, med den lille pocket rocketen min blir de stort sett bare stekt på midten. Men når er vi vel snart tilbake i pinnesesongen og kan la gassen hvile i kjelleren til neste sommer.

Ja, har stekt det meste med den og det blir ganske gjevnt varmt. Blir godt å få fyre med ved igjen 👌
Jeg har den, bare eldre model. Jeg er kjempe fornøyd med den, men litt stor. Og siden den har justerbare bein, står den også stabilt på litt ujevnt underlag.

I used a scissor :) And I don’t think it is doing anything with the warranty.
