Priming and Painting Lumin's Foam Clay with Flexbond

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Take your Foam Clay pieces to the next level with a coating of primer & paint! Using a primer like Flexbond not only makes your work pop, it also increases the durability & flexibility of your pieces and protects from damage.
_____________________________
1) We used Flexbond for our project. Other primers will vary in application and end result.
2) Apply primer in thin coats for the quickest drying time & to prevent runs. Use a damp brush for smoothest finish. The more coats, the more protected your piece will be.
3) Allow your base coats of primer to dry. We used a blow dryer to speed things up.
4) Mix your paint with more Flexbond and paint away. We used a damp brush and paint with a more translucent finish for a wash effect.
5) Want to add some glitter? (Of course you do!) Mix your glitter with more primer and paint some more. Flexbond goes on white but dries clear.
6) If you have lights embedded in your Foam Clay, paint sparingly on those parts so that the light can still shine through.
Have fun!
