Nice vid! I got myself this doorlock on kickstarter also, but how did you make it to auto-lock after shutting the door? Are you using door sensor?
Yes for now having a separate door sensor is the only option

Seems to be crazy loud. Is it that audible in person or your mic is raises it?
Not that loud in person, but this kind of noise is sort of common for retrofit locks unfortunately.
