Don't tell him to chill. What he was saying was funny in a different way and also the truth. The real thing probably is a lot funnier like what they were saying. Despite it being a lot funnier that's the thing though. That kind of humor goes over American's heads because dry Brit humor is for people who are what's that word? Oh...it's... ...educated! Good luck with that part when most can't even find the letter A that used to be in front of the word "American" You'll be lucky if you get the apostrophe in front of the "M" these days because most people won't even spell out the whole word "you" they'll just put the letter "u" at the end accompanied by a couple more random single letters of the alphabet. This horrible broken English is definitely our schools failing as our work ethic is also becoming lazy! The only people that should be using single letters to express themselves are kidnappers with ransom letters or Prince.

Why is a labour MP sat opposite a labour PM? when was the head of the tories from belfast? and no tory northern irish man is going to call himself an irish citizen and complain about british oppression in ireland, the members who do complain about that don't take their seats in parliament becasue they don't recognise the uk government as the rightful government of northern ireland. this was so weirdly inaccurate i couldn't enjoy the deliberately silly bits properly.

I was looking for an earlier aired skit like this, from maybe around 1990-1993 or thereabouts, the one where Clive Budgen announces "I’m still wearing ladies underwear!!" but this skit is just as funny.
The only way this could be more accurate is having the members cheer when their representative is announced
This just popped up in my recommendations and I must say, the timing is impeccable! 👀😂
Matthew Broderick as Tony Blair was something I didn't know I needed
Lol people complaining about the accuracy in this 😂😂...... Only if you brits actually held their Politicians responsible as seriously as you do for this
Gerry Adams has never sat in the House of Commons nor has any Sinn Fein MP to my knowledge. Sinn Fein MPs who favour a united Ireland have consistently refused to take up their seats at Westminster refusing to swear allegiance to the Queen.

Returning to this there is so many mistakes it is beyond funny: 1) Prime Ministers Questions (PMQ's) happen once a week on a Wednesday 2) The Speaker of the house does not use a gavel 3) Gerry Adams along with Sinn Fein has never attended PMQ's due to them not taking up their seats in the Houses of Parliament 4) That neither sounds like or more importantly looks like Gerry Adams who has a large full beard 5) Gerry Adams parliamentary Constituency was Belfast-West 6) Members of the Public would not be able to enter the chamber 7) Calling a member of the Public a 'Blood American' would result in an immediate rebuke from the speaker for unparliamentary behaviour 8) By convention MP's do not clap 9) The Speaker during PMQ's would not allow multiple questions from the same back benchers, there is a strict pecking order with the Leader of the opposition going first then the leader of the third largest party 10) The Prime Minister cannot order the removal of a sitting MP from the house, for that to happen it must be the Speaker who names the intransigent MP first after asking them to withdraw their comment followed by a vote. Only then can a sitting MP be removed from the Chamber. The process is shown here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/eaaV1NiNo5i3frg.html

They did this sketch a year earlier in 97 (with Michael Myers as John Major.) In real life Michael Shersby passed away one month later. They did this sketch again in 98 and again included Will Ferrell impersonating Michael Shersby. Did the writers not know that the MP was dead when they made this sketch?
