    Til this day I don't think there has ever been a Center more athletic than Dwight in his prime guy was unreal. With little to no post moves except a jump hook he could drop 30 any night got 20 a night with mostly putbacks and dunks. Pick and roll wise he was just too quick for any center to keep up with and could literally catch any lob

    He should still be in the league in my opinion. Not just because I think he is good enough but because of the leadership he could provide these up-and-coming superstars. The dude was literally a kid and dominating the league. He was Lebron-level dominant. single-handedly taking his team to the finals type shit. It's really a shame the league has banished him overseas. Happy he got his ring thoooooo

  • @nathanieltaylor7196

    @nathanieltaylor7196

    9 ай бұрын

    Thats exactly what im thinking People dont realize that he came straight out of high school and was so dominant he got the LeBron treatment. Unfortunately, he had a career ending back injury that he never fully recovered from because he wanted to hurry and play for LA after all that Shaq nonsense. He could never return to the three-peat DPOY Dwight and since he got the LeBron treatment and he wasn’t winning championships or at least coming close he was labelled a bust (which is completely ridiculous). I honestly believe that even if Shaq didn’t have his panties in a wad and try to do everything in his power to try and paint Dwight in a negative light he’d get the respect he deserves. He’s arguably a top 10 center of all time, and the ceneter position has the most competition all time. If he hadn’t been injured and was able to continue the pace he was on that could’ve easily moved up to top 5-7.

    Yeah, anyone who's interested in Dwight's career should look into how Shaq treated and still treats him. I have very little respect for Shaq as an analyst given his level of understanding of the game is extremely superficial, but as a person even less, because he took that shit waaaaay too far. Add in how he still talks shit about Steve Nash's MVP (showing some of that poor understanding of the game, impact stats show Nash being ridiculously good then) and stole his reality show idea, and more, let's just say I'm not a fan.
