I never got into arcade games, I was always the kid over in the corner playing the nut machine (pinball). Yes they had pinball machines when I was a kid... hahaha

I basically missed most of that craze myself. By the time I was coming up, we had stuff at home that was newer, looked better and didn't cost 50 cents to play

I agree with wanting to be the dragon instead of a human. Your story was great. I played bubble bobble on the nintendo and I would get super far and then it would do the classic nintendo freeze where you infuriatingly pull out the cartridge and blow on it, as if that helped. To this day I still call any freeze on any game system "getting nintendoed"

That's tragically funny. I have to say I missed the whole "blowing cartridge". I was lucky enough to be in the ps2 Blu ray discs that were supposed to be indestructible but the slightest scratch would render your $50 game useless.

What the what???

Loved the original Bubble Bobble and Rainbow Islands (best versions on the Amiga 500). The first game looks like a total rip off of Vampire Survivors so will pass on that one! Just finishing the demo of Trails through daybreak on Switch which really hooked me (first Trails game I have played and is a great way in tot he Trails series without having to buy a Vita). The graphics / resolution isn't great for the Switch though which is putting me off buying sadly which is annoying! Ace Combat 7 came out today which may get but seems overpriced.

Yeah i would buy ace at $30 maybe $40, but $60 for a game that's 10 years old. Also I'm sure I have it for Playstation. I definitely want to get trails through daybreak. I'm a huge fan of the series, lol but ATM I'm drowning in RPGs, recently got tales of symphonia and star ocean second story(both were on a good sale about a month ago). Oh and also been playing megaton musashi which is one of the best games I've played in a long time.

@@nemA96 We have similar taste, I'm now at the point where I am being much more disciplined with my purchases because of my enormous backlog. Was going to get megaton musashi but stupidly missed the sale. I've been so impressed with Trails, as a newcomer the story hooked my instantly. Star Ocean is awesome although I got sidetracked after about 5 hours. Got a new copy of Xenoblade Chronicles X which arrived today so will be dusting down the Wii U this weekend. Keep up the reviews mate you are picking good games to review your channel will lift off at some point. Love from U.K
