Primal Scream - Come Together (Screamadelica Live)
Primal Scream's seminal album "Screamadelica" defined a generation. It's mix of rock, dance, dub, gospel and more caught the zeitgeist of the early nineties to perfection and it went on to win the inaugural Mercury Music Prize in 1992 and consistently be named as "Best Album Of The Nineties" and appear in numerous "All Time Best Albums" lists. This show, filmed on November 26th 2010 at London's Olympia, was the first time that Primal Scream had performed the whole album live and it became one of the "must see" gigs of the year. The band was accompanied by a brass section and a gospel choir with back projections specially created for the event. The result was a stunning musical and visual triumph and proved, if it needed to be, that Screamadelica is one of the finest albums ever made and that Primal Scream are one of the truly great live bands.

I took on an Expat job in 1992 in Ireland. This was one of the songs that helped me to settle and forget my "Heimweh". I still live in Ireland, happily married to an Irish woman with three adult children. Still love this song.
One of The Masterpieces from Screamadelica! RIP Denise Jonhson, Martin Duffy and Robert 'Throb' Young
One of the greatest live performances of all time, it's musical perfection. The way the song builds up is simply magical, the gospel choir, the brass section every single musician on that stage comes together truly as one, it's absolute genius.
Never forget 1st time i heard Come Together. A great away day watchin United then back to town, dropped a cheeky one later on. Groovin all night till the early hours, smiling from ear to ear as this masterpiece finished the perfect weekend. Then strolling out into the misty moody Manchester sunrise swaggering back to Ancoats with this still ringing in your ears. Bliss. Thank-you for the memories.....................

Come Together still transcends all music out there, The message has been always been simple(not wishywashy) Its about communal power and how expression through music and making NOISE can elevate us all. Redemtion! The new live version evolved so we can overcome the elites who fuck with us daily with psychic warfare, thieving taxes, alienation and their drive to divide and conquer and ISOLATE US. ART precedes change, it's a psychic charge to the collective unconscious, There must be WORD, there must be SONG, then persistence , resilience and a whole lotta patience. The masses or the consensus really don't matter right now and never really do, it's all about the psychic charge to the collective. HAIL the vibe.
A timeless classic album my god, remember mixes of this and loaded in the clubs in Dublin in the 90ees especially one club sides😜 There's fuck all I can say except pure class and the early to mid 90ees were pure class aswell👍🇮🇪
