Thank You! from the bottom of my heart, your right in everything you've said, it does my heart good to hear, what I've always believed in my heart, trust me I'm not the only one. Yet couldn't condemn anyone because all priests were put on a pedestal. The church needs to reach out and start saving souls, the harm has been done, may forgiveness be within our hearts, may we all walk with Jesus who gave us the holy spirit to live life with love in our hearts.

It's very strange ..lm beginning to wonder what the Catholic Church...IS... ? its as different as the individual priests now.. Especially when you go to confession and there's no sin... I do pray and go to Mass.... Each morning I ask God to Please let me love you today.... & He does....

Fr Larry, Please clarify this- Pope St John Paul II was said to have a great devotion to Mother Mary, then how come he did not "consecrate" Russia to the Immaculate heart of Mary, but beat around the bush. Also, how come he did not remove Fr Marcial Marcel founder of Legionaries of Christ from priesthood? Did the Holy Spirit tell him not to? Also, how did he add to the rosary given to us by Mother Mary? Or, do we understand the that the LUMINOUS mystery is a mystery according to Pope St John Paul II? Pope Francis says to admit the divorced civilly married, those who live in irregular relstionship to holy communion communion, would you do so? The Holy Father places more emphasis on "immigration" than "abortion", what is more important to the Church? Is the Holy Father not shoving on the Church his own agenda? What about the "homosexual" priests, what is the Holy Father doing about it? Esp placing homosexual jesuits around him??

Walter Roberts, Amen amen amen. If had a million bucks, I'd send it to ya just for your comment alone. I dont know in what parallel universe I woke up in, where Catholics cant criticize a pope. Especially, when its a pope that contradicts what other more saintly popes have written or declared. I pray for this priest but I wont be following him or taking his advice again. He denigrated Catholic families that attend mass daily... And spit. Sorry Larry but you denigrate my dead parents. Your no priest worthy of following. I will include you in my Sunday Holy Hour for priests.

I don't think Protestant authors should be recommended. Even if you know your faith, there may still be time bombs of error in there that get absorbed by enjoying the good parts and warp or omit some truths subconsciously. We should never think we are immune. Handling snakes and stricknine, or poison of a spiritual nature, is not something I believe God intends is to do, but to know that, should the situation occurs beyond our control, we might be protected--and that is if it's His Will. It's prideful to jump into danger without a necessary reason. In the context a good quote is put by one who is commissioned to write or speak on something using quotes from those in error, it would be safe. In the form of a debate, I think different it outright erroneous ideas could be safely presented. It's prideful to think we can read error alone and not be adversely affected. As far as the Life in the Spirit goes, maybe Dr. Larry should ask that one of he went to other kinds of worship. That the charismatic services are adapted from Pentecostal spirituality, which leads some to not baptize in the way Christ taught his Apostles or carry on like one with a chaotic spirit, caution should be exercised. If we knew what happens at a Mass, supernaturally, we would not feel the need for charismatic worship.
