Is this the finale?? Lucky marries the Sheriff's daughter and Wendy retires? 😯😫😫😫 What about June the teacher, she'll be back in town 🤔 I see that those 2 lovebirds will finally settle down too, eh? ✌🤠 Sounds BETTER!!!! 😅👌🏻 Why, Hoppy Cassidy's character was so much appreciated by the actor himself who played the role (there's a whole lot more to that. Check it out!) that after retiring William Boyd who put it all down to buy full rights of films and own it and did and gotten wealthier, left things be as they were with no further appearence as to be remembered by this significant character with his white beauty horse, Topper*.. always.. the reason he also did not allow any type of media after he was through with it so the legacy of Cassidy, the good cowboy hero would live on through all ages never aging. For that I thank you pardner for this upload 🥰⚘🍃. So long, Hoppy.. so long, Boyd!! 👋🏻🤠 *When Topper died, Boyd said he would never ride another horse-there was only one Topper. 💞⚘🍃

Those bandits could have easily seen that boy following them. Anyway, Hoppy was my hero along with Roy Rogers and Gene Autry when I was a kid in the 40s.

George Hayes retired from the Hop along Cassidy franchise to live on his stock market income. When that went bust (he lost everything) like so many Americans. He reemerged with Roy Rogers to rebuild his fortune. His loss our gain you might say.

Gabby left Hoppy due to a contract dispute. He lost his money years back in 1929 when the market crash. Came out of retirement to do Western seriels and later join hoppy series. Then went with Roy Rogers.

At 1:33 It looks like the stage coach lost a set of horses. When it is on the road there are 3 sets of horses pulling the stage. When it enters the townss there are onlhy 2 sets of horses.

What in Donny's behavior would Bill Boyd, or the fictional character Hopalong Cassidy, ever find remotely acceptable? Defeating self-aggrandizing con men is what these flicks are all about, and Donny outstrips even the nastiest cattle-rustler Hoppy ever encountered.
