The USA is the most talented country in the world in terms of athletes and all sports. That is exactly why other countries try recruiting our talent to represent them. It's not her fault, she has an illness called the twisties which means she can't tell which direction she is facing in when she is flipping in the air, and it can be really dangerous for gymnasts. I think she also lost a loved one during the Olympics, so I think she was perfectly justified in not competing.
