I think Jane Austen would have been unimpressed that so many of the actors were at least 20 years older then the characters they were playing. Not to mention that Jane was so much less pretty then Lizzie.

This is and always will be the best version of pride and prejudice, I've never seen another master piece, i watched in Spanish and i never got tired of watching it, never watched it enough unfortunately i cannot find it anywhere anymore in Spanish. Deeply sad for it.

I loved this version of pride and prejudice the best . But this video is full of mistakes . This version has the best Mr Collins ever . He was absolutely spot on !

No he WASN’T! Mr Collins is described in the book as a “tall, heavy looking young man of five and twenty”. So casting a 42 year old actor of average height and slim build was totally wrong.

They all played brilliantly! It is a universal masterpiece!

They all aged gracefully

Alison played the mother role brilliantly, she was wonderful to watch and she looks great now.
