I love how at 15:14, having mainly fought in a very controlled way with his striking (combinations, no really wild punches), he completely changes tack by throwing that wide haymaker and landing it well. It was calculated to catch Chuck off guard, and Guy did it smoothly even though it was a big departure from the rhythm he had set for himself in the fight.

Unbelievable fight, the pace is so high, the energy and tension, i love the 10minute round followed by 5 minute, strategy playing out as qell as fighters really showing their heart

@@joeln9252 Agree. His last fights were sad to watch. When he fought Overeem, he took hits that would have knocked out any other athlete. The punches collected by Mauricio Rua, Franklin, Ortiz or Evans, if he had taken them a few years earlier, he would have chewed them like chewingums.

If Guy developed his skills to the next level, he could compete with many fighters of the old school. Metzger is definitely an underrated fighter of that era and he is my favorite. It's a pity that Metzger's career ended quickly...

No, it was during Chuck's participation in the Pride GP 2003. Chuck faced Alistair Overeem in the first round and then Rampage in the semi-finals.

Not sure what you mean by 'legitiamate ko'. Guessing you are meaning that he was knocked unconscious, but if you are using that definition, then most of Liddell's KO's were not 'legitimate' either.
