Oh PPS a father and daughter are restoring a 1940's car as well so these cars are just flooded market once they sell prices will climb again Look at Vintage 1960 station wagons and even Chevrolet Nomad those are selling like hot cakes because they are cheap and parts are common.

I have found many young gen m and z collecting these last you do not know what condition they are in or cost of repair since one looked like a low rider. Money is why most of us can't get these but heck one KZreadr has a Gen Alpha son who is restoring a car for himself in the future and it is a 1950's ford those are being bought up by us young. A Teen has a 1948 Chrysler New Yorker and a German gen Z or M is collecting any and all vintage Benz etc. PS the market is flooded by these cars and Ford Model T and A along side B is popualr among us young as well. So price is not down due to lack of buyers when cheap these cars will sell over the next few months.

@@BobB-pn2ip they are worth what someone is willing to pay. Fully restored vehicles go by current cost of restoration, usually taking a loss on that amount.

Depends on body, undercarriage etc. Young kids looking for steals minus money. Lot of guys putting cars in auctions with reserves if they have a nice classic. Can't blame them.

The orices of these cars are dropping like a rock because the people who collected these cars (Baby boomers) are dying off. Therefore, the prices drop due to less demand. But, the 80's and 90's cars are skyrocketing in value because the Gen-Xers like myself and millennials are grown up into their 40s want the cars that we grew up with in the 80's and 90's. We have 0 interest in these 50s-60's cars. I remember 30 years ago that a 1960 T-bird fully restored, in excellent condition would sell for $35,000. Now, there's a guy in my neighborhood selling one in excellent condition, fully restored and he's struggling to get $12,000 for it. He had it on the market for over a year. That says it all

@@jonathancunningham8739 The Babyboomers are dying off. Therefore, there's less demand for these cars. You're just upset because your 50's, 60's cars are losing value and you know it😂🤣. Not many young people are interested in these cars anymore. Especially after their baby boomers leave them to their children. The children don't want them. Especially Gen Z. Gen Z are more interested in new cars because he or she can get a 2020's muscle car for way less, can do 0-60 in 3 to 4 seconds stock then spend $90,000 for an overpriced 1969 Dodge Charger that goes from 0-60 in 15 seconds🤣😂.

@@chazzkramer7676 Lol I know what I'm talking about Grandpa. You obviously don't know economics very well or how it works. As the baby boomers die off, these classic car values will continue to drop due to less demand. The same thing happened to the 1910's model Ts, 1920's and 1930's, model As cars. Sadly, the generation who collected those cars died off. Therefore, there's less demand which causes the value of these cars to go down. For you it's a hard 💊 to swallow but, it's the truth. That's how economics works. When there's less demand for something, the prices drop. When there's a high demand for something, the prices go up. The square body Chevy's are a clear example of a high demand item. Therefore, prices go up.
