I support this idea. The Odyssey is basically sequl to Trojan war. And they could also do adventures of Aeneas later or alongside that.

Brilliant season, loved how you covered every aspect of the legend and the illiad. I'm looking forward to the next season, hoping to see: Aeneas escaping Troy with his father and son through the burning city. The death of Paris The appearance of Penitlassia and Memnon. The anger of the Gods over the Greeks barbaric acts, along with the misfortune of each Greek Kings over their return.

Even without it's champion...the city would continue to fight until it's last gasp... In other words...Hectors worthless brothers...they who fled before Achilles...locking their own brother out of the gates, less Achilles in his wrath entered opon Hectors heels...slashing and killing Trojans as he came...with both Death and Hades in his wake ...would now have to step up and defend Troy 😤.

You guys are recounting the events after the Iliad! Awesome! I cant wait to see the arrival of the Amazon warriors, the reinforcements of King Memnon and his army of Ethiopians.

And this was the last chapter of the Iliad by Homer (with the funerals of beloved Patroclus and Hector). The next chapters of the Trojan War are based in other works about it. I'm looking forward for the next season, especially because of the participation of Queen Pentesileia and her Amazons and the Ethyopian army led by King Memnon!!!

@@EudaimonV If you're talking about his black skin color, ancient Greek artwork from archaic times usually depicted him as a black man. He is the son of a goddess, and the gods of Olympus can take on any appearance they want and probably pass certain traits on to their children.

Ah yes! Penthesilea and Mennon, my favourite post Iliad battles.

@@EudaimonV 1st and foremost I'm black and proud of it and I love that there depiction of him reflects African decent. Secondly Every reference of him that I have seen has stated that he is king of Ethiopia so it is appropriate he be depicted as such. Would you rather he be blond hair and blue eyed at the head of an all black army? And third it's a myth that's over a thousand year's old Lol

Aphrodite = total Troy fangirl. Priam is rt though. Paris bought turmoil, and hector tried to bail Troy out. Deiphobus prob not much better, but not so familiar with his family.

Yeah but I felt the killing of Patroclus was a bit dishonorable of Hector. If it was one on one like in the movie I'd feel more sympathetic. Other than that Hector's overall goal and cause was honorable enough.

Why not Andromache leaves Troy and brigs her son with her when the truce taking place or at least bring her son out after the funeral pyre is turn off? By doing that she might saved Astyanax. By the care of Aeneas to carried to boybto Dardan.
