Modern Sonic is so fast that his normal run animation is able to keep up with Classic's top speed animation.

Combine this with the one that had Team SSS and/or Sonic, Shadow and Silver in it. That'd be Classic, Modern, Shadow and Silver vs Furnace and Eggman. That's a 4v2 right there. Shadow has guns and Silver can throw things. Classic knows how to spindash and same with Modern but Modern can also boost. That's a lot of power that Furnace and Starved have to deal with.

Although there was only the Classic jump sound effect, but Modern is the one who talks afterward, does this mean Modern just rammed through Furnace? (I know I'm looking too deeply into this and NPC_Gamer probably just forgot that Modern Sonic has a different jump sound.)

maybe they just share the same sfx cause the creator felt a little lazy to add the modern jump sound OR modern decided to go head to head with furnace

Explanation: Since it only takes one furnace and one starved to take down one sonic then starved getting two sonic's without needing another verson of himself and another furnace is two for the price of one.

Correction: Starved’s loss. Reason: Modern Sonic is so much faster and stronger than Classic Sonic that Furnace would be completely incapable of catching up to him, much less harming him. To put it into perspective, Modern Sonic is as strong as or stronger than Super Sonic from SA1 through him defeating Perfect Chaos in Sonic Generations.

@@cameronharding6055 Yeah, all the Classic-era characters come nowhere close to ther Modern counterparts, and anything designed to fight a Classic-era would get torn to shreds by pretty much any Modern-era character. The Modern characters are so much more powerful than their Classic counterparts, that I think Modern Sonic would be able to tear Furnace apart in one or two hits.

Wouldn't a better name be generational prey?

Classic Sonic can be heard jumping (probably avoiding Furnace) Modern Sonic talks afterward (meaning he's fine) So they prob both survived.
