Preview: David Suchet reads St John's Gospel
On Easter Day, we’ll be premiering a specially recorded reading of St John's Gospel by acclaimed actor Sir David Suchet, which has been filmed in the historic Jerusalem Chamber at Westminster Abbey. You’ll be able to watch the reading on this channel from 4.00pm (BST) on Easter Day, Sunday 4 April, and on demand afterwards.
In this preview clip ahead of the event, Sir David reads St John 20: 24-31.

I absolutely love this magnificent actor, and also I love Monsieur Poirot. The series has helped me in very difficult moments, and I have watched one scene over and over again, when Poirot tells young Ginebra Boynton in "Appointment with death": "There is nothing in the world so damaged that it cannot be repaired by the hand of the almighty God". I've always believed in God and I know He is always with me, and since the very first moment I saw the mentioned scene, I knew without any kind of doubt that David Suchet believed in God too. I'm enjoying this marvelous John's Gospel reading as I've never enjoyed a reading before. God bless you Sir David Suchet!!!!!!🙏🏻🥰
