Nah fr I just started watching original sin and this shit is trash. Acting is horrible, the story barely makes sense, the plot is literally held together with yarn and tape, and at the very least I wish they’d have the same type of humor as PLL, but no, and don’t even get me started on the “micro aggressions” bitch… This is why white ppl should NOT be writing stories for black people bc they really have no clue what they’re talking about. They really tried to force that shit like they were LOOKING for any reason to call somethings micro aggressions when in reality it just happens. God I had so much hope for this show, but what could I expect from the people who worked on fucking riverdale. Smh this show sucks ass just because it didn’t live up to the original. It was supposed to be better, but some people don’t know what the fuck they’re doing. Someone get Marlene King up in this bitch again bc at least when she was writing the show she stayed in her lane when it came to things she didn’t know much about. At least she knew what she was doing.

@@marliecep as far as i can remember there was a decent-sized backlash on social media regarding the relationship, especially from some older viewers, but the showrunner i. marlene king defended it, and kept introducing more & more creepy age-inappropriate “relationships” between teens & adults on the show. unfortunately, the younger viewers ate it up for the most part. but i think you’re right that people are more aware of the problem with these types of relationships nowadays & are less willing to romanticize them.
