So OBVIOUSLY the wife - I knew it was her after her and Rusty’s first conversation. Also, she had access to the photographs of the prior case.

I feel like the whole family is connected. Some of Barbara's paintings were in Caroline's house after her death which could mean they had contact at some point and the son was spotted outside the house after Rusty left. We're yet to see the Daughter's involvement if she has any at all. This show is absolutely brilliant at the moment. Got this on Wednesday's then The Boys on Thursday's.

It’s the wife absolutely 💯! There is nothing else going on. It’s plain old Barbara he’ll realize it and confront her. He’ll keep silent however.

Did anyone notice the painting at Caroline’s house when he goes back to her house during the prints and dna sample collecting. The painting is pretty similar to a few of the styles shown at Barbara’s workplace.

Ohhhhhhhhh way to go Columbo... They did make a point to show it. She sold a painting 5 weeks ago... I do think it's the wife too. And anyone else the new boss sounds weird... When they said "delay"... i thought he was laughing at him calling him a special person. Then they explained the "delay" part.

The wife, Barbara, did it. 💯% Why? There’s no way she’s that submissive. She said that his previous affair destroyed her. She figured out that it was back on, went around with the pretense of having a woman to woman talk with Caroline, and ended her. She made it look like a previous case to put the suspicion on her husband. She ideally wanted to keep him and get rid of the homewrecker but, losing them both might be unnecessary evil. Either way, she’s not being cheated on anymore.

😂 I'm using this show as a sleeping aid and its amazing puts me right to sleep every single time without fail...fantastic!!

Bill Camp is the most “oh I’m not the main character, watch this” actor I’ve ever watched 😂

My guess is one of the kids killed Carolyn. Since this series has already strayed from the book...it's one of the kids and not the wife.

Its someone from Rustys office that knew how the other woman was killed. If Barbara did it she would have just killed her while confronting her, she would be too upset to tie her up and stage the scene. I feel like its the Lawyer trying to pin it on Rusty because he is such a dick. I feel like someone else will be introduced in later episodes

How many of you googled who did it (it's based on a novel, so that info is out there).

Looks like I've seen 5his kind of scenario... In 'Your Honor' Of course Rusty, as a loving caring father will protect his son in all humanly possible.

I think Carolyn was playing both Tommy and Rusty by being involved with both intimately!

The two boys might have set it up

i just started to watch the series , i was thinking that Barbara is the killer, ( a revenge for the affaire). After watch the episode i did a fast search and i found that there is a book and a movie... I mean, its a kind of predictable

Further thoughts.... Mum finds out about the affair... Somehow confides in her son... Son links up with the dead D.A's son to catch them in the act and expose them... Mom comes to tell them to stop... There's an argument... An accident occurs and wife probably has seen the pic of the previous case... They team up to recreate it... That's why, there was no S.A from the autopsy... Twas an accident.... And a cover up Hehehe..... The end
