It’s actually going great I landed a huge contract with an apartment complex and made more off that one job than I made the whole summer. Was a bit more difficult with the economy but people still want things washed for sure !!

What would happend to the wall if the bleech/chemical isnt washed of afterwards? And which surface can klorin be applyed?

quick tip for bleach, you can get gallons of bleach at the dollar store, the more bleach the cleaner I've noticed, especially for driveways. I use an electric 3000psi 1.2 gpm sunjoe machine & it kicks ass for doing home washes / driveways, just have to subsidise the lack of gallons per minute with heavy chemicals, a little slower process but already made 2000 in local word of mouth / friend sales in a month of casual operation.

5% is very common on roofs. To say not recommended on any surface if bad advice. Southweast will say so in his videos.

We would never start at a 5% mix - that is overkill on most of our roofs. 3.5 to 4.5 % is more common, the simple reason behind that is when you apply a much hotter mix, you were using more chemical in the opportunity to have issues is increased, we prefer to start a little less hot and do a couple touch up spots if needed. But to each his own- this is just how we do it. In our area, we do not have significant moss buildup which requires a stronger mix.

What are the pros to downstreaming compared to softwashing? Besides homes because can’t you also just soft wash a home? Thanks

If I were to do a big commercial job like this where I had a soft wash system and a cold water pressure washer. Would it be best to use a 5%-6% mix to clean a commercial building this dirty?

Been waiting for the result on that abandon building! I am going to Lowe’s tomorrow to pick up a surface cleaner, soap cannon, bleach and soap. Going to wash my sister’s driveway tomorrow afternoon. I have an 1800psi Greenworks pressure washer. Not sure if it will be strong enough but will pretreat, wash and post treat if I have to. Godwilling I can get some more jobs up here in MI before it gets cold and be ready to hit it hard in the spring. We will see. 🤙🏻

Curious others opinion on XJet vs. Soft Wash system if you aren't doing roofs. $150 vs. $2000 and on a windy day I can't see that soft wash stream doing much?

An ex jet is probably a good tool to have in your toolbox, every once in a while there might be a need for it, but in my opinion the perfect combination is down streaming and soft washing. Again that's just my personal opinion. I am not a fan of hauling around buckets of chemicals korma but you definitely can get a slightly higher percentage on the wall versus a down streamer. But doesn't even compare to a Softwash system. I know guy say you can clean roofs with an X jet, but I just don't think you can get a high enough percentage, I could be wrong though. You can get into a Softwash Pope for a lot less expensive than 2K, you just have to put it together yourself

Can i use a regular garden hose 1/2 for softwashing? Will the bleach harm the hose? Reason im asking is that i live in Norway and they dont have flexilla over here, can order on ebay but its really expencive thats why i wonder if i can just use a normal gardenhose, and if i pull just water trough it after the bleach it will probably be ok!?

Cant you just downstream directly from the SH jug? At 4 gpm it should be pretty stout, like around 5-6% with a high flow injector.
