Thanks for the video. But in future, please use a long chopstick if you want to release pressure from the valve. This is to prevent you from scalding your fingers.

Which cup did you use to measure? A standard measuring cup or the cup that came with the pressure cooker?

Thank you for your video. How difficult to wash the pressure cooker? And how about the electricity consumed, which is use less energy (rice cooker or pressure cooker)?

Very easy to wash. Because it's non stick pot. And pressure cooker can cook many things rice cooker cannot cook. Of course if you only want to cook rice, then no need pressure cooker, just buy rice cooker. Not sure about the power comparison for cooking rice, but if you are cooking meat, then pressure cooker will save power for sure.

Have you tried for 1 cup of rice? Would like to know the rice and water ratio... Cuz I kept trying to 1 cup and half the water based on the marking inside for 2 cups, but it's very mushy...

I think the mark on the left is to measure the rice in cups and the line/mark on the right is where the water level for that amount of cups should be at. So 2 cups of rice should have been on the 2 cups mark when you poured it in then you fill to the corresponding line on the right. I seen this on the Phillips KZread channel.

Yes, you are right. There are markings for recommended levels. Ultimately, water depends on the type of rice used. Just adjust it until your liking. There isn't a fixed formula for all types of rice, or a universal rule for everyone's preference, even with the same rice. Some like it harder, some like it softer. But personally for me, for cooking rice, probably no need pressure cooker, unless we want to do double dishes together on top with the rice I guess. :-)

@@1GuyinHisKitchen yes that correct brown rice would be different than white rice etc. I’m not telling you how much water you should put in or how to cook rice but in fact what the markings on the pot are supposed to represent case you didn’t know cause, I didn’t until I read instructions. It might just be a quick guide its what the instructions say so don’t shoot the messenger. I don’t cook rice in mine I don’t like it. According to your video you said you liked it and would do it again so dishes probably wouldn’t bother you :)

Would it be the same way to cook brown rice with this pressure cooker function ?

Yes. Just add a bit more water. You will need to adjust the water to your taste of the texture.
