    Why is WH Harrison on the list? The man died before he could prove himself as a leader, he spent his final weeks fighting off pestering office seekers, trying to stay alive after his inauguration, & the only thing he did that could be considered a presidential act was to ask for a convening of Congress in May, for which he wouldn't live to see, but Tyler presided over it in his place.

    TL;DR: you mixed up Andrew Jackson and Andrew Johnson +Christopher yt you’re thinking of Andrew Jackson, not Johnson, common mistake. Jackson was a pretty good president. People talk down about him for forcing the natives onto reservations, but it’s not entirely fair to judge the actions of someone from a long time ago based on modern-day morals. Also, you are incorrect to say they “did nothing btw”. They had been harassing western towns ever scone the colonies first popped up, taking many lives. Andrew *Johnson* did a lot of things wrong, on the other hand. Lincoln, a northern republican, liked to appoint men with differing opinions than his to high positions, to promote discussion and compromise. So when he was assasinated, his southern democrat Vice President Andrew Johnson took the presidency. He showed up to his own inaguration drunk. He struggled severely with rebuilding after the civil war and as a result, was the first of two presidents to be impeached (the other being Clinton, who I think was placed way to high on the list but that’s just me).

    Obama, Kennedy, and LBJ. John F. Kennedy: Was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Medal for heroism during World War I, he took the U.S. economy out of recession through his reforms, he contributed in the formation of the Partial Nuclear Test Ban Treaty, and he worked towards civil rights. Lyndon B. Johnson: He aided the passing of the Landmark Civil Rights Bill, the Influential Civil Rights Act of 1964 was passed, the 1965 Voting Act, the Tax Cut Bill led to an economic growth and lowers the unemployment rate, and Lyndon also expanded gun regulations in his presidency. Barack H. Obama: Won a Nobel Peace prize, ended war in Iraq, killed the leader of Al-Qaida (Osama Bin Laden), supportée gay marriage, supported the sentencing of almost 1,200 drug offenders. And by the way, the list in the video is an opinion. You can’t say someone is too high or too low. In my opinion, these three should not be any higher or any lower,

  • @warrenrhinerson6373

    @warrenrhinerson6373

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@lordvoldemort5725 Hey, sorry it took me so long to reply to you. I never say any notifications until now. Let me address those points. John F Kennedy: Though the medal makes him a war hero, it is irrelevant to his Presidency as he got it nearly 20 years before his term in office. In reality he did not do much as POTUS. Heres what he did in office: Almost started World War 3, three times, tax cuts, nuclear test ban treaty, dead. People remember him as a good President because he could give a really good speech Lyndon B. Johnson. He may have aided its passing, but his motivations behind doing are highly up for debate. He voted against every civil rights bill for twenty years before he became President and all the 1964 and 1965 bills did was grantee rights that were already in the Constitution for a century. He also got tens of thousands of Americans killed in Vietnam over an attack that didn't happen. Yes he did pass some gun control laws, but they had almost no effect. Even today the issue of if gun control laws even do anything us highly question as there are thousands of laws on the books and most of the laws seem ineffective. The Tax bill you are referring too was actually written by Kennedy just before he died. Johnson had almost nothing to do with it. Barack Obama: He got the Nobel Peace prize for doing nothing but sitting in his office. He was sworn into office in January 2009 and got the prize in October that same year. Even Obama himself had no idea why he got it. He also didn't end the Iraq war, he created a power vacuum and admitted to training ISIS and ISIL forces (look at how well that turned out). By the end of his term we were bombing 9 countries at the same time. Yes, Bin Laden was killed during his Presidency. He also didnt support gay marriage until the middle of his second term, when it was political convent for him. For his entire political career before 2015, he openly said he wasn't for gay marriage. He is also one of the biggest ego maniacs ever to be President. He put himself and his own accomplishments into the biographies of every President since Coolidge with the (exceptions of Eisenhower and Ford) on his White House website. He tries to take credit for the economic boom we saw a year after he left office. He spoke in Germany for an hour and a half and mentioned himself 500 times and be blamed the previous administration for all his problems. So in my opinion, I do think LBJ, JFK, Obama and Carter were ranked too high while Nixon is raked too low. You are more than welcome to disagree and we all have our own opinions.

Oh, he was...uh...uh...uh...perhaps the worse orator ever to occupy the White House...took him 10-minute to saying something anyone else could communicate in under 30-seconds...and his minions would explain that he was a brilliant orator. LOL! Also, a move move Nixon way up on the list (he was brilliant when he wasn't trying to cover up someone else's crimes) and Kennedy would be moved up 2-3 spots. Oh, and Carter (nice guy but highly ineffective) would be moved down below Bush.

    Why is Reagan so high? He wasn't that good. And why is Wilson so low? He is way better than Reagan. And why is Washington above FDR? FDR had better political experience than Washington.

    Reagan created the largest expansion of the economy in United States History(17 million new jobs from 1981-1989, and a total of 31 million new jobs according to the heritage foundation), along with winning the cold war. Wilson didnt really do very much
