President Clinton and First Lady Clinton were worried that the images portrayed of children being injuried and killed in the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah building in Oklahoma City could have dire effects on children. To reassure them, the Weekly Radio Address for April 22nd was a special address both broadcast over radio and televised from the Oval Office.
