Newsflash: Unfortunately, there's never gonna be a new Ronald Reagan.
They both was really good at being first family. Class act all the way. 🇺🇸
5:53 stepped over the running board. I’m more than 20 years younger than he was there and that takes effort in my F-150.
Thanks for this great videos
1981 Chevy Suburban in this video, I still have mine and it's mint. I miss you Ron big time, praying for you and Nancy.
I didn't realize the Blackhawk version of Marine One was that old

US Army selected the Blackhawk to replace the Huey in 1976 and it entered service in 1979. Only Marine unit to fly them is VMX-1 based at Quantico which does VIP transport including the President; they continue to fly heavily modified hueys

Funny to see the helicopters look the same today as back then......but then as the camera pans over to the vehicles you see those old ass Suburbans. They don't even look armored. The current Suburbans have super thick doors. When the SS agent closed the door of the 1980's Suburban it sounded like your average civilian truck. When they close the door to today's presidential Suburban it sounds like they are closing a 2 ton vault door. LOL

ScarabChris probably because Camp David is a much more secluded area on top of a mountain that the SS can much easier secure.

I'm a democrat, but I miss this era. The Reagans had such grace and class. This is the leadership that the Republican Party needs again. Not Trump! Never Trump! Mr. Reagan is spinning in his grave over what his GOP has become. Love of Russia was never in his vocabulary. R.I.P. Reagans. You were true patriots! Real America misses you.
@allysondoerfler2435

Not true. Reagan was NOT a RINO, was attacked by the media at every step, was called an amiable dunce, and it goes on. It was more subtle then, but every bit as vicious. He would have been thrilled at Trump's success because he cared about the NATION, not his own aggrandizement. Trump is the first in the GOP who didn't just roll over for the Dems and the lying MSM. Being a never-Trumper is a lazy excuse to blindly accept the absolute failure of the Dem Party. Glad you are enjoying $5 (or more) gas and open borders. And it was HILLARY that loved Russia, OK'ed the sale of uranium and gave them a "Reset" button. Under Trump Russia did not invade Ukraine, but now they have... UNDER A DEMOCRAT.

@@tturner12341 So did I. Tell me.. Did you live through Washington? Lincoln? What about FDR? Reagan was the best modern day president. Brought hope prosperity and competence back to this nation. The military was a tough life before reagan. He changed that and offered better pay housing and benefits. Won the cold war and reduced nuclear arms down to where they are today. Single handedly brought prosperity to one of the most peaceful times in history through sound economic policy that lasted through the 90s through innovation and a more robust free market system. Slashed crippling inflation, cut taxes and grew the economy at a staggering rate. No. This guy was one of the greatest presidents of all time and the greatest of the modern era.. Dont believe me? Ask the American people where hes overwhelmingly favored in historical polls and to this day politicians use his name as an example of excellence..

A president couldn't be prouder, winning two terms in major landslides, before being succeeded by his vice president who also won in a landslide. Bush won in 1988, but everyone knew people were voting for Reagan.

Being that Reagan himself was an actor and was in a few movies, I feel like he was an average everyday tax paying American. That what made him a good president. He and Trump have a lot in common. They would both cut through the crap and say what they thought. They weren’t raised in political families. They were real American people.

He was a awful President. The way he responded to the AIDS crisis was almost criminal.
@guywebster8018

One of the greatest presidents of all time. From economic to the military the results of his administration lasted decades. Lets talk about your example. Aids which was unknown at that time. No one knew anything about aids and the stigma that created was heartbreaking but tbf promiscuity cant be forgotten in your argument. Personal responsibility means something. So a lack of knowledge and a free love spirit really made aids one of the hardest crisis anyone had seen. Im not sure you can blame a president for Aids. Thats ridiculous bro.
