Another issue is that when Kenya had a deal with China, the West did not like that. The World Bank said if Kenya wants to take the Chinese funding, then Kenya should pay back the debt in full. I remember leaning about this at uni. Kenya had to default on China and if I'm not mistaken it was some project about a major road construction. Why not ask why the West has been in Africa during hundreds of years and are still there. Yet no development has occurred. Foreign development for Africa is about voting, democracy, and rights. Those things do not put good on the table. Chinese aid has no conditionality yet Western aid laden with conditionalities.

Kagame is supporting M23 a rebellion group that is committing war crimes in Congo which includes rape, murder, and looting of Congolese minerals. Kagame is actually supported by the west, all the minerals that are smuggled out of Congo go to Rwanda and then sold on the open market aka the west. Kagame is also notorious for jailing the opposition in Rwanda including the hero of hotel Rwanda. All of this can be corroborated with a simple Google Search.

Your comment on Kenya's loan for the Standard Gauge Railway, is equally ignorant. President Uhuru Kenyatta actually went back to China to seek further loans so that the SGR could be extended to the Uganda border. The SGR is a fantastic project and your comments are not just misplaced but ignorant.

I don't agree with you when you say the loans from China we know that African countries are not able to pay them. Because Africa isn't a poor continent, but its leaders have never thought to use its riches for devoloping the industries that can work them. And selling finished products to the world. If we begin to do this we will not be able to pay our loans but also to stop youngsters fleeng their countries, that can build a developed Africa.
