As a Cubs fan, this is how we were raised. If the Sox made the playoffs, we'd pull for them. It's your hometown team even if it's not "your" team. This more recent thing where Cubs and Sox fans are supposed to hate each other is really annoying.

As a Canadian, even tho our opinions don't mean much to our American brothers and sisters, I'm gonna really miss this guy. From history, what we watched and learned, his one of your best. Keep it going in the right direction, for all of our (world) sakes.

i kinda like that about him. shows that he really cares about the impact of his words. before obama became president he was a rapid, off the cuff speaker which was great but also risky. as president, your words can have tremendous unintended consequences. you can tell that obama really thinks about his sentences and answers

harlemdeni I think hes a little more paced when speaking because tbh hes probably exhausted. I mean you try running the most powerful country on the planet and deal with critics at the same time. Its actually too big a job for one man in my opinion. Out of all the presidents, I think Obama is the one to cone out the other side the most sane. Exhausted sure, but still himself.

Never liked Obama’s policies that he had in place when he was in office, but I will be one to admit that he is a very humble and wholehearted person. We have never had a president with such charisma and positive attitude. From a Chicago native and Cubs fan we miss you Obama.

When will we have a president like Obama again? Totally chilled, dignifying, thoughtful and intelligence.

I still cannot believe that we actually had a President who was not only witty, insanely intelligent, charismatic, absurdly articulate, and handsome, but didn’t usurp his power, was compassionate to every person’s plight, empathetic, humble, kind, and fiercely devoted to his wife and children. There is nothing anyone can ever say to discredit or belittle his legacy. His words and actions speak for themselves, and he will be revered and just as beloved by history as he is today.
