Our Usada forum is delighted to have our friend Jean Couteau return to our second floor venue for an informative talk on Indonesia’s sitting president.
Since undertaking the task early last year, Jean has been immersed in writing the biography of President Joko Widodo, who has led Indonesia since October 2014. This talk offered a philosophical perspective on what motivates Jokowi, and will explore his vision for Indonesia’s future.
About Jean Couteau:
A distinguished writer, historian, and columnist specializing in Balinese culture, art, myths, and history, Jean Couteau earned his doctoral degree in 1986 for his thesis on art history and the iconographic art of Bali. With several authored books and contributions to NOW! Bali magazine and Kompas newspaper, Jean brings a wealth of knowledge to the discussion.
