President Erdogan welcomed President Samia Suluhu Hassan of Tanzania with an official ceremony
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan welcomed President Samia Suluhu Hassan of the United Republic of Tanzania with an official ceremony.
Hassan's official vehicle was met by cavalry on the street in front of the Presidential Complex and escorted to the protocol gate.
President Erdoğan welcomed Hassan at the main entrance gate of the complex. After Erdoğan and Hassan took their places in the ceremony area, the national anthems of the two countries were played.
Tanzanian President Hassan greeted the Guard Regiment Ceremony Corps by saying "Hello soldier". Flags and soldiers representing the 16 Turkish states established in history also took part in the ceremony.
Erdoğan and Hassan shook hands on the stairs in front of the flags of Turkey and Tanzania and posed for journalists.
Erdoğan and Hassan, who held a head-to-head meeting, will chair the delegation meeting and organize a joint press conference.
Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin, Minister of National Education Yaşar Güler, Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat, Presidential Chief of Administrative Affairs Metin Kıratlı, Head of National Intelligence Organization İbrahim Kalın, Presidential Communications Director Fahrettin Altun, President of Defense Industries Haluk Görgün, Presidential Advisor on Security and Foreign Policy Akif Çağatay Kılıç and Ankara Governor Vasip Şahin also took part in the ceremony.

@@Soon815Not correct. South Africa could not have copied Tanzania anthem, it is the other way round. The song "Nkosi Sikilele Afrika"(God bless Africa - original in Xhosa, later versions in Sesotho, and Zulu) was composed by Methodist Clergy Rev. Enoch Sontonga in 1897. The ANC adopted it in 1925, became South African national anthem on abolition of Apartheid. The tune was adopted in Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Namibia for their anthems. Tanzanian anthem in Kiswahili is : "Mungu ibariki Afrika - God bless Africa, using the tune of Nkosi Sikilele Afrika. Zambian national anthem also using the tune Nkosi Sikilele Afrika is called: "Stand and sing of Zambia proud and Free"! Historically Zambia, Namibia, Tanzania, Zimbabwe built their national anthem on the tune: Nkosi Sikilele Afrika (composed far back as 1897 by Rev Enoch Sontonga in Xhosa language.

Really like this video. As a Kenyan I was really waiting to hear her greet the soldiers as sometimes I wonder if Arabic and Turkish speaking people know how similar Swahili is to their languages. I also like the Tanzanian national anthem, I honestly believe it should have been adopted as the EAC anthem.

Tanzania got independence in 1961 and South Africa in 1995 when apatheid ended so this Anthem is originally Tanzanian. Our South African relatives Love us so much due to the Founding Father Mwalimu President Nyerere support for liberation of the entire Africa/Pan African movement esp South Africa freedom fighters they received a lot of land, money and passports from Tanzania where theres always been Unity and Peace🇹🇿
