Great video! What RF output wattage does the PL value of 127 correspond to? Similarly, the AL values you set correspond to approximately what % of modulation?

It appeared to be about the 4 full watts with the best modulation and swing at those number , I’m not an expert at it just the best I could see and sound quality with the mic it comes with,.seemed to be going up to 100 percent mod swing, but everyone talks at different level and holds mic different so that’s the best answer I have.

@@texasloudnproud1036 I just tried this and at 127 I was only pushing 3 watts... BUT taking a look inside the radio I'm also noticing that there is a jumper that other people have in their radios that I don't have at all... Still wondering if that has anything to do with it.

@@Josh-of-all-Trades more work inside radio must be done to my understanding from radio tech ,this is about 7 watts on my meter.there is something they do inside , this video was made to be able to understand the adjustment , if the mods on inside are done and you want to change mics or put and amp mostly to get dialed in better.

About 7 -8 watts on mine mics seem to make a little difference, everyones voice is differnt i put a second radio in the area and adjusted them to how i liked the sound .

Great video! Do you by any chance know if the Bill II has this same service menu or something equivalent?

Ya the little Wills don’t get out near as good as a full length or even a Wilson 1000 ,they will do the job for close range.

Is there a backdoor menu for turning on a talk back feature?
