⁠@@garyspross In the case of Trump, It was an obvious Freudian slip. He had been talking about Nancy Pelosi‘s role during J6 less than a minute prior to bringing up Haley. Biden accidentally referring to Kamala Harris as Donald Trump and introducing Zelensky as Putin twice is an obvious sign of cognitive decline. Not to mention his horrendous debate performance when he wasn’t able to string together a single coherent sentence at any point during the debate.

@@tjmartin8516 The excuse you provide for Trump can also apply to Biden. Actually, it applies moreso for Biden since Haley had nothing to do with J6. Zieliński and Putin are fighting each other in a war, so I'd imagine both names are swirling through the mind when speaking. As for putting Trump's name in place of Harris's, he's running against him for the Presidency and constantly having to point out what a terrible person he is, so of course that name will constantly be in his head. Yes, the debate was bad, but I'd argue that it was bad for both candidates. I'm more worried about the guy who can't speak without lying, who constantly belittles and attacks anyone who doesn't vehemently agree with him, who also makes his fair share of gaffes, and who shows no respect for our democracy.
