I never thought to dry them. I freeze them and use them to make veggie stock with the rest of my veggie scraps. That way we’re adding those amazing benefits to things like rice, mashed potatoes, soups etc. 😋

I love how you have a heart of thankfulness and gave Glory to our GOD in your video! 🙌🏼✝️ I’m enjoying the dandelions in my yard this year! I have not had pesticides in our yard for 10 years. Mine are smaller and more Lion tooth like shape. I still have flowers (which I’ve dehydrated for tea) so maybe I’m harvesting mine while they’re younger / earlier in the season. 😊 I’m still trying to decide if we should take them in and clean well before drying. I’ve been washing and soaking in vinegar. It still seems my petals may not be completely clean in all of the folds. Another vid I watched said to boil them so I’m considering that but do not want to lose any nutrients.

Awe thanks Kim! Ya I’d be worried about losing the nutrients through boiling too. Honestly I usually just give mine a quick rinse now but I’m not as worried about washing them since I’ve moved to the country. When I lived in a busy downtown city I used to soak them in baking soda but vinegar probably works just as well! Flowers I could see being harder to clean especially when those annoying little bugs get in them.
