Also search Facebook, Konfederate Kennel for Don Matthews and Owl Hollow Kennels for Alan Scott. Their contact information is on their as well but since they have it posted publicly I went ahead and posted it here too. I agree with you with the why have em if you ain't gonna use them for what they were meant to do. Not bad to have a dog of any breed as a pet and not using it for what it was meant too especially if it is living a good life. But why breed something with out knowing it is being kept up to a standard. Also just curious, you asked for a white english to see how they are and use as a possible outcross?

Yea I was considering trying to find a White English to use. Actually if I found one from working stock I would’ve scooped it up in a heartbeat but I haven’t found one yet. I’ve found that most American Bulldogs are too prey driven. I’m sure I’ll have find something useful in the future. I’ve learned a lot in the last 6-7 years of doing this. Mostly learned what not to do lol. Nothing wrong at all with owning a dog just as a companion. I have a little Staffordshire Bull Terrier that’s our house dog.

@@prideofthesouthlandkennels i really like what you are doing with your dogs. nothing wrong people doing what they wanna do with their dogs but i find alot of people breed AB's essentially like a pitbull, and i just like yours having there other purposes that a pitbull would not exactly excel at. it is keeping the old farm style bulldog alive. They aren't even cool with giving you one when you explain you don't want to breed white Englishes, but that you are wanting just an outcross for you AB's?

Yea they want to keep the White English pure but I really don’t believe they exist anymore to be honest. Not in it’s true form as a farm dog that is. I’ll just my eye out for another American Bulldog and I also have my SBT I may cross in down the road.
