Presenting: IBM Quantum Learning

Ғылым және технология

A few months ago IBM Quantum launched its own quantum learning application; a website dedicated to educational quantum content for our community. With free courses, tutorials, and features, our hope is that IBM Quantum Learning becomes the go-to place to learn about quantum fundamentals and applications alike, through Qiskit.
In this video, Olivia gives Abby a tour of the app and discusses the current courses, upcoming additions, and how to sign up for your first course.
Head to IBM Quantum Learning now to get started:

Great project! I've taken and enjoyed 'Introduction to Quantum Information and Computing' by John Watrous (up to topic 5), and I can unapologetically say it's one of the best out there. The way he deciphers technical and complex terms in an easy-to-absorb manner, along with the professionalism of his presentations, is commendable. I had previously taken an introductory course on Quantum Info. on Coursera, where I almost lost interest due to the technicality, despite it being titled as introductory, and a few KZread videos. Having it on a platform like this provides ease of accessibility, and most importantly, 'code implementation' of the concepts being explained, along with badges and certifications, all make it a noble idea. Kudos to John Watrous and his amazing team! 👏

Pretty cool Olivia and Abby. Along with this channel, we will have an incredible source of quantum knowledge. Btw, if your looking for translators to other languages, like spanish (remember we are almost 600M) I would gladly do that job (as a job of course, but don't get me wrong, please, I'm already a proud and responsable dad). Anyway, as soon as I finish the five courses, I will give you the feedback your effort deserves, suggestions and everything I can as from my knowledge and experience as a lerner and user. Greetings from Mexico!!!

The drag-and-drop interface in the Quantum Composer looks really user-friendly. This will be a valuable tool for beginners, and one more. It would be even better if the video included some demo videos showing how to use the platform in a Jupiter notebook environment. This would be helpful for people who are already familiar with Python programming.

I don't know if it's the best online source for quantum but from experience I can say that is the most well rounded! I find very helpful the code implementation since Qiskit just got to 1.0 and without this material some concepts would be confusing to implement. Can't wait for more, keep it up!

Thank you for making this resource freely available! 😊Can you provide a resource that explains what basic math background/courses is needed in order to complete each of the available courses? I have been wanting to learn quantum computing but I am held back by the fear that I don’t know enough math to successfully complete the courses.

This is so cool! I have been using the learning platform already, but good to know how much work and thought went into designing it. I was curious to learn more about the summer school - I see playlists on your channel for past year, but is it something I can apply to for current or future years? Or is it purely KZread based and there is nothing to apply to?

I go through the query algorithm. But it's little bit confusing for me. Like the equation part and how all the inputs are represented by single equation. I think if you provide q&a section . It's really benifit for as .😊
