    Av got a pos dci 125 been stuck in a garage for 5 weeks such a great system you built turbos replaced egr replaced still won't boost before 2500

    I have an old mechanical injection diesel, that where the farther's of all modern diesels. No ECU, no EGR, no DPF, no catalytic converter, no turbo, and no complicated alternator or oil pump...and consequently...No problems! These modern engines have too much to go wrong. Our fleet of vans at work have the dCi 120 engine. They give a continual steady stream of electrical problems, and sound mechanically tired after they reach 100,000 miles Powerful yes, but not for me thanks!

    stop/starting your engine burns more fuel also starter motor will be worn in no time bring back good old days smokie engines leaving lights on etc all this is crap protecting what the weather has got worst since we changed our ways :(

    Iv had a Renault dci for seven years now and never had a mechanical issue at all as long you maintain them right this Engine will go for a long time Common issue Is the crank sensor and camshafts sensor but apart from that Iv never had any issues whatsoever
