    The rifles from the US that were used by Spanish Republican forces were called "Mexicanskis" not "Americanskis". see surplused.com/index.php/2020/06/15/foreign-rifles-of-the-spanish-republic-1936-1939/

    Why does he keep saying "moysin"? Is that right? I've never heard it pronounced that way and what I learned in school about the english language tells me it shouldn't be.

    Moozeen is correct but most americans pronounce it the way it is spelled in english. See beginning of video.

    Did some Remington Mosins not retain their upper hand guard? I've seen some that just don't have them and wont allow one to fit

    A Mosin made by Remington was the 91 Model, the handguard from a 91/30 is a different design.

    Meetings are held at the Kenilworth Veterans Center near exit 138 Garden State Parkway on the third Thursday of most months at around 8PM. Guest fee is $5 for up to 3 meetings. If you live close you can join for $100 a year. Distant members can join for $25 a year . Both get discounts at the vintage Rifle matches that are held at Cherry Ridge range.     Not moysin, and not moisin, it's mosin with only one "i".

    Kind of hard to listen to a "expert" that cant even pronounce Mosin correctly, or mix and matches 2 different ways of saying it on whim.
