This makes me miss my DX 13 figure. I basically had every incarnation of the Terminator at one point in my collection. Sadly I had to sell most of my collection. I've been collecting since about 2010ish. Great review on this piece. This is a great alternative to try and to reacquire the DX13. I think this is pretty damn good. To have real leather is a huge plus in my opinion. Hot toys is a notorious for the pleather flaking and deteriorating. Thanks for the review

Great video. I like the headsculpt, also the details of the Battle damage on the forehead are nice. You should only put 2 batteries on the compartment no 3. Obviously is not better than the DX13 but is a great alternative for collectors. The quality for the price point is good in my opinion. 👍🏼

Yes, the sculpted in battle damage is nicely done, I just dont care for those blood streaks added myself. 3 batteries for sure wont happen, Ive only seen one person able to get the third battery in. Many people stated online that it wouldnt make contact with only two batteries for them, what a shame! I think its a decent figure overall, and if you cant shell out the money for the dx13, its a good stand in. Tech Noir and T-1000 next! Thanks for watching!

@@HotToysHotlinedo you think you might try to customize it and remove those blood streaks on the forehead? I really like this and am considering picking it up because I missed out on the Hot Toys versions. I’m also thinking of waiting it out just in case Hot Toys decides to reissue.

Cant wait for the T1 ( 1984 ) battle damage figure of this brand to release this fall. Im already happy with my hot toys clean version of my T2 Dx 10 T-800.

Got it and it looks fantastic, the light on mine works great and I was only able to fit 2 batteries so it's definitely a blast for the price, the head sculpt could be better but I see Arnold in it so I'm very happy with him. And don't forget the hot toys one, you will find it for around $800-1,000+ and this one is only worth $240. I mean, it's okay, it's not perfect, but I do recommend it, taking into account everything I said before.

Glad your sculpt worked out for you! Maybe its a qc issue, I saw a few people on social media sharing the same issue with the batteries. Its not a perfect figure by any means but as I mentioned, I am also happy with it. The dx13 is about half that price here (in USD) . Well said 👍

Got mine today and oh boy! This is far better than my dx13 what a shame. The scale is on point! My dx13 is so big, it does not match my collection. The head is big, the body.. everything. The face is good and better in hand. It is now standing beside my tulsa king, rambo, judge Dredd and robocop display. Good job by present toys.

I got this figure the other day. For the price I paid I think it’s great. Is it the best? No. But it looks great on the shelf. If Hot Toys or Inart tackles this license in the future. Then I might switch it out. Until then it’s a keeper.

Really good review. I'm skeptical about the leather being real despite whatever claims they make. If it indeed isn't, it's fantastic quality still. The grain being so perfectly uniform is what is especially suspect to me. Genuine leather has the grain of course, but it's typically not uniform like what I'm seeing here. Still waiting on mine and may have to order elsewhere since I made the mistake of continuing to do business with Toys Wonderland and they turned into scammers. Anyone watching stay away from that place, still calling this guy a preorder when everyone else has had him in stock for a month. Another order was to be shipped two months ago and they won't respond to emails.

Yeah, I never got confirmation and im certainly no expert, but I have seen lower quality leather pieces with a synthetic backer, could be the case here, not sure, we only know what the manufacturer tells us of course. Thanks for watching! The mistakes I was referring to mainly were the paint apps on the headsculpt and the battery compartment nonsense. Its not a terrible figure by any means, just some unfortunate decisions on the sculpt that turned a lot of people away from this one.

Fantastic thorough review (as usual!) Connor. Unfortunate to hear the head sculpt didn't turn out great. From what I see in the video I think personally the headsculpt likeness being off and the way they battle damaged the pants are the two biggest downsides. The rest looks cool tho, real leather is awesome too. And that Endoskeleton knee is cool. This is one of those characters I am really being patient with though. Really hoping HT or Inart just gives us a T-800.

Nice review! I got mine yesterday and put the 2nd DX13 head sculpt on him looks awesome 😁 the clothing is definitely not leather it's all pleather both jackets and trousers! Good quality pleather very impressive I'm extremely happy with it, stay safe and have fun 😎

Ive seen some photos with the dx13 sculpts, looks much better! According to Present Toys, this is genuine leather clothing, every site that has him listed states that as far as ive seen. It feels like the material they typically claim to be leather 👍 So glad to hear that you are happy with it, ditto! Thank you for watching!

Hi I have also seen a lot of the other videos with people saying the costume is all leather and yes I'm also aware that Present Toys sold it as all leather! 3rd party company's don't always tell the truth!
