FANTASTIC job Mel. :) I loved your introduction - you have a lovely, soothing voice and you provided all the detail that people really want - history of the owners (human interest) and I was particularly keen on the etymology of the estate's name. Love word play like Fi-Lo-Li! :) I really enjoyed this and as @JesusChristIsLord said - excellent music accompaniment, graceful, stately and a lovely enhancement to the fine atmopshere of the house. :) Keep up the great work.

Just viewed this wonderful video. Having been a docent for ten years from 1982-1992 I appreciated every single step which I took personally leading tours every other Tuesday. Those were wonderful days when Mrs. Roth would come and visit and with her chauffer driving she would often stop and thank me/us, I'm sure, for showing her former home to the public. Lurline and Bren, her twin daughters, were also docents and would stand with us as we were assigned the group we showed through the house and the formal gardens. It was truly a joy for me to enter the gates, let what cares I had go free, and live in another time preserved at that time by 16 gardeners. A few changes have been made since 1982 for instance the carriage house held Mrs. Roth's carriages, and horse equipment before becoming a gift shop. I know Mrs. Roth's legacy will carry on. To those considering the tour, please do. You will find a treasure around every nook! Patricia Cockcroft.

You did a marvelous job with your filming here. It's really like walking by yourself thru this house of all houses! Thank you very much. The only thing I will never understand is, why they changed the stair runner into a blue one.

Is that a square planter with a sundial in the entry courtyard? If so it is hideous and completely out of character with the house. It lacks scale and looks more appropriate to a mobile home park. Not original.
